Vehicle battery pack support device
A vehicle battery pack support device applicable to various classes of vehicles and allowing weight reduction and cost reduction. The vehicle battery pack support device suspends a battery pack at a side rail constituting a ladder frame of a vehicle and includes a frame-side bracket secured by bolts to an outer side face of the side rail at a plurality of bolt fastening parts thereof arrayed in a grid arrangement. An elastic coupling part elastically couples the battery pack and the frame-side bracket. A spacer is interposed between the outer side face of the side rail and the frame-side bracket. The spacer includes a plurality of columnar members corresponding to the plurality of bolt fastening parts and a connecting part that connects the plurality of columnar members.
Vehicle rear portion structure
A vehicle rear portion structure includes a cross member that extends in a vehicle width direction at a vehicle rear, a rear wheel house that accommodates a rear tire, a rear pillar that extends in a vehicle vertical direction, a reinforcing member that connects the rear pillar with the rear wheel house, and a joining member that connects a lower end portion of the reinforcing member with one end portion of the cross member. The rear pillar is divided into a general portion and a high-rigidity portion. The high-rigidity portion is connected to an upper end portion of the general portion and is specified with a higher rigidity than the general portion. The reinforcing member is connected to the high-rigidity portion.

Vehicle battery housing, vehicle battery pack and electric vehicle
A vehicle battery housing which enables an electric vehicle to have an increased battery on-board capacity. The vehicle battery housing is mounted on a vehicle having a ladder frame and includes a first battery accommodating portion arranged in a first space between two side rails constituting the ladder frame and a second battery accommodating portion greater in vehicle-widthwise dimension than the first battery accommodating portion and connected to the first battery accommodating portion to be located in a second space vehicle-heightwise below the first space.

Cab chassis vehicle and method of assembling
A cab chassis vehicle and a method of assembling a cab-chassis vehicle are provided. A chassis is sub-assembled by connecting a mounting bracket for a truck body to a frame rail via a fastener, installing a chassis-side vehicle harness, and installing a chassis-side body wiring harness. A cab is sub-assembled by installing a connector plate to cover an aperture on an outer panel of the cab, installing a cab-side body wiring harness, connecting the cab-side body wiring harness to the connector plate, and installing a cab-side vehicle harness. The cab is assembled to the chassis to provide a cab-chassis vehicle by connecting the chassis-side body wiring harness to the connector plate, connecting the chassis-side vehicle harness to the cab-side vehicle harness.
Vehicle frame
A vehicle frame for a hybrid or electric vehicle includes a pair of longitudinally-extending side rails being positioned in spaced relation across a width direction of the vehicle frame to define a battery space therebetween. A side impact absorber is positioned on a first one of the pair of longitudinally-extending side rails. A first member of the side impact absorber is secured to an outboard sidewall of the first side rail to define a first impact energy-absorbing load path to the first side rail. The first member has a wave-form shape and extends laterally outward from the outboard sidewall to an outboard end of the side impact absorber. A second member of the side impact absorber is secured to the outboard sidewall of the first side rail, further from a height-wise center thereof, the second member defining a second impact energy-absorbing load path from the outboard end of the side impact absorber to the first side rail.
Battery Pack Support Device for Vehicle
A vehicle battery pack support device for a battery pack mounted below a pair of side rails extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction and has a pair of side faces each facing in the longitudinal direction, includes a battery bracket for housing the battery pack and a frame bracket for coupling the side rails and the battery bracket. The battery bracket includes a first bracket covering the side faces of the battery pack, at least a portion of a top face that is continuous with the side faces, and at least a portion of a bottom face that is continuous with the side faces, the first bracket having a dimension in the vehicle width direction which is equal to or larger than the long side of the battery pack and a second bracket covering an end portion of the first bracket in the width direction coupled to the frame bracket.
