HAUL TRUCK SPACE FRAME MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT
A mounting system for mounting a tank to a space frame comprises a side mount configured to mount the tank to a center upper frame connection of the space frame, and a bottom mount configured to mount the tank to an elongate support member of the space frame. The bottom mount and the side mount are distinct mounts and configured to be mounted to the tank in a spaced apart relationship with respect to each other. The bottom mount and the side mount are coupled to a bottom and a rear side of the tank, respectively, and together are configured to mount the tank to the space frame.
ENERGY ABSORBING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE FRAME
A vehicle frame includes a first structural member and an energy absorbing structure connected to the first structural member. The first structural member extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction. An energy absorbing structure is connected to the first structural member. The energy absorbing structure includes a first fixed member, an impact member and a connecting member. The first fixed member is connected to the first structural member. The impact member is connected to the first structural member. A connecting member is movably connected to the first fixed member and has a first end fixed to the impact member such that movement of the impact member moves the connecting member about the first fixed member.

Vehicle body-variant adaptable shock tower system
A vehicle body-variant adaptable shock tower system for a vehicle body structure having an axis, a vehicle frame rail arranged along the axis, a bulkhead arranged orthogonally relative to the frame rail. The system includes a shock tower spaced apart from the bulkhead and fixed to the frame rail. The system also includes a shock tower cap defining a plurality of receivers and a plurality of braces, wherein the number of braces corresponds to the body-variant. Each brace extends from the shock tower through a respective one of the receivers to the bulkhead, and is fixed to the shock tower and the bulkhead. The system additionally includes an adhesive applied between the shock tower cap, the plurality of braces, and the shock tower to thereby bond the shock tower cap, the braces, and the shock tower to each other and reinforce the vehicle body structure.
FRONT VEHICLE BODY REINFORCING STRUCTURE
A front vehicle body reinforcing structure is provided to improve front collision response performance of a vehicle. The front vehicle body reinforcing structure includes a front side member that is disposed on each of left and right sides of a front vehicle body to extend in a front-rear direction of a vehicle body. A crossbar is installed to connect between the front side members on the left and right sides and has a form bent in a bow shape. Additionally, support brackets are installed to connect between left and right side portions of the crossbar and the front side members to support the crossbar at each of the front side members.

CHASSIS STRUT SUPPORTS
An apparatus and methods are provided for a chassis for an off-road vehicle that includes a chassis strut support. The chassis is a welded-tube variety of chassis that includes a front portion and a rear portion that are joined to an intervening passenger cabin portion. The chassis strut support includes one or more front strut braces for distributing loading on a front strut crossmember by front struts to at least a dash bar comprising the passenger cabin portion. In one embodiment, first and second front strut braces are joined to locations of the front strut crossmember that are above the front struts and extend to locations of the dash bar that are joined by first and second windshield braces. The windshield braces comprise a canopy that extends over the passenger cabin portion and contributes to the structural integrity of the entire chassis.
