ASSEMBLY HAVING A SKID PLATE MODULE
A skid plate module for a vehicle. The skid plate module may include first and second pillars that may extend from a skid plate. The first and second pillars may be disposed along a center plane of the skid plate and may be adapted to be mounted to a chassis of a vehicle. A lower control arm, a mounting bracket subassembly, or both may be mounted to the first and second pillars.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL TRACTION OR CARRIER VEHICLE
In accordance with the disclosure provision is made for a vehicle. The vehicle is characterized in that a vehicle chassis of this vehicle includes a roughly tubular frame, a gearbox housing and underbody paneling. The frame, the gearbox housing and the underbody paneling are connected in such a manner that they form the vehicle chassis and hence a load-bearing frame for engine, bodywork and/or payload.
SINGLE-WHEEL DRIVE COMPONENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AND CORRESPONDING MOTOR VEHICLE
A single-wheel drive component for a motor vehicle, having a drive assembly and a wheel carrier, on which a wheel hub, which can be driven by the drive assembly, is rotatably mounted by a wheel bearing. At least one assembly support for mounting the drive assembly on a body of the motor vehicle originates from the drive assembly. It is provided in this case that an assembly bearing for elastic mounting of the drive assembly on the body is arranged on the assembly support. At least one control arm is articulated on the wheel bearing on one side and on the assembly support on the other side, in order to mount the wheel carrier.
VALVE OPERATING DEVICE HAVING A MOVABLE ARM FOR USE IN EXERCISING VALVES
A valve operating device includes first and second pivots, a first arm portion extending therebetween, a second arm portion extending from the second pivot, a valve operating machine on the second arm portion, and an actuator connected between the first pivot and the first arm portion. The first arm portion can rotate around a first vertical axis defined by the first pivot and can pivot around a horizontal axis defined by the first pivot. The second arm portion can rotate around a second vertical axis defined by the second pivot. The actuator causes the first and second arm portions, the second pivot, and the valve operating machine to pivot upward and downward relative to the first pivot around the horizontal axis.
ROBOT
A modular movable robot includes a lower plate provided with a traveling unit, an upper plate spaced above the lower plate, a plurality of lower supporting frames vertically elongated between the lower plate and the upper plate, a top plate spaced above the upper plate, a plurality of upper supporting frames vertically elongated between the upper plate and the top plate, and a housing surrounding edges of the lower plate, the upper plate, and the top plate. A longitudinal length of the housing is longer than a horizontal width of the housing.
SUPPORTIVE BELLY PAD FOR A ROUNDED TRAILER
A structurally supportive belly pad is connected to a rounded trailer and configured to support the same near the rear end of the trailer. The belly pad may be arcuately curved complementary to the curvature of the rounded trailer. However, if the belly pad were laid flat, it includes a pair of parallel legs aligned in a generally longitudinal direction with a plurality of transverse ribs extending therebetween. The shape of the belly pad is configured to provide structural support for the trailer which is beneficial especially when the trailer is raised and lowered, typically through hydraulic mechanisms.
VEHICLE WITH ARTICULATED WHEEL
A vehicle includes a frame including a front frame part and a rear frame part. An elongated single wheel is rotatably connected to one of the front frame part and the rear frame part. The elongated wheel houses an expansion device including a linkage mechanism adapted to reconfigure a shape of the elongated wheel between a cylindrical shape in top view of the vehicle when the vehicle is traveling in a straight direction and a frustoconical shape in top view of the vehicle in a turning condition of the vehicle
UTILITY VEHICLE POWERTRAIN ENCLOSURE
A utility vehicle powertrain enclosure includes an engine and a transmission mounted to a carrier under a utility vehicle cargo box and substantially enclosed by the carrier and a plurality of panels. The carrier has a forward end pivotably attached to a frame member of the utility vehicle, and sides flexibly connected to panels alongside the engine, and a rearward end mounted to the utility vehicle with a pair of suspension members.
VEHICLE BODY LOWER STRUCTURE
A vehicle body lower structure includes: an undercover having an opening and a first fixing portion disposed around the opening; a cover member having a second fixing portion and detachably attached to the undercover to close the opening; and a fixing member configured to detachably attach the second fixing portion to the first fixing portion, the fixing member being fixed to the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion from a lower side of the undercover. The undercover includes a general portion and the first fixing portion, and at least the general portion and the first fixing portion are made of a board member having a constant thickness. The second fixing portion of the cover member is thicker than the board member. The second fixing portion of the cover member is located over an upper surface of the undercover.
