Provided herein is a split variable extension width self-propelled motorized transporter (SPMT) vehicle including a widening adaptor that allows for variable spacing of split SPMT trailers thus increasing the width of the loading platform without the need to add more SPMTs and Power Pack Units (PPUs).

A link mechanism is provided between a first member and a second member to effect a bending/stretching motion in operative association with a telescopic expanding/contracting motion of the first member and the second member. A supporting mechanism is provided to support, to the link mechanism, a wire having flexibility and connected between a first device on the side of the first member and a second device on the side of the second member. The supporting mechanism fixes the wire to each link member of the link mechanism in position so that the wire is deformed while maintaining its state following a shape of the link mechanism in operative association with the bending/stretching motion of the link mechanism.

A replacement tailgate for the purpose of elongating the pick up truck may be installed on a truck bed wherein the replacement tailgate can be unfolded in order to elongate a length of the truck bed. The replacement tailgate may have front and rear shells that are used to support objects placed in the truck bed as well as act as the new tailgate when the truck bed length is elongated. A vehicle may include a door pivotally mounted to a vehicle body at a lower end portion of the door, to open or close an opening formed at a portion of one surface of the vehicle, while being configured to form a bottom surface connected to a floor of the vehicle in a state of completely pivoting toward an outside of the vehicle in accordance with an opening operation of the door, forming a terrace space connected to an internal compartment of the vehicle, and a seat slidably mounted in the internal compartment of the vehicle, to provide a seating compartment for passengers, while being configured to be slidable outwards toward the opening of the vehicle, providing a seating compartment in the terrace space when the terrace space is used in accordance with the opening operation of the door.
