STRUCTURAL IMPACT ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE HAVING STRUCTURAL IMPACT ASSEMBLY
A structural assembly for use in a motor vehicle includes a rocker and a running board. The motor vehicle includes a vehicle frame and a door. The rocker extends in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. The running board is movably coupled to the vehicle frame between a deployed position and a stowed position in which an upper portion of the running board extends vertically above the rocker. The running board is configured to be positioned underneath the door and substantially flush with a lower portion of the door when the door is in a closed position and the running board is in the stowed position.
REAR VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE
A rear portion of a vehicle body includes a front floor panel, a rear floor panel, a pair of left and right side sills, and a front cross plate. The rear floor panel has a higher upper surface height than the front floor panel. The front cross plate connects a rear portion of the front floor panel and a front wall of the rear floor panel, and an outer end portion in a vehicle width direction is coupled to the left and right side sills. The front wall of the rear floor panel has a plurality of bent corner portions having a side view shape bent in a substantially L shape. At least one of the bent corner portions constitutes a closed cross section extending along the vehicle width direction together with the front cross plate in a vertical height range of the left and right side sills.
LONGITUDINAL REINFORCEMENT FOR A ROCKER PANEL BEAM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Motor vehicle body structure (3), comprising, on each lateral side: a rocker panel beam (15) forming an internal space of the beam (15); and a longitudinal reinforcement (21) positioned in the interior space of the beam (15); the longitudinal reinforcement (21) extending from a centre pillar (9) to an A-pillar (7) and having an angled front portion (25) housed in the A-pillar (7).
UNDERBODY STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
An underbody structure of a vehicle includes a cross member, a side sill, and a gusset. The cross member is provided on a floor panel and extends in a vehicle width direction. The side sill is coupled to an outer end of the floor panel in the vehicle width direction and extends in a front-rear direction. The cross member and the side sill are separated in the vehicle width direction. The gusset is interposed between them. The gusset includes front and rear side walls, an upper wall, a protrusion, and front and rear flanges. Each side wall includes a lower end coupled to an outer end of the cross member in the vehicle width direction. The upper wall is coupled to an upper end of each side wall. The protrusion is provided at an outer end of the upper wall in the vehicle width direction.
Front fender cover attachment assembly for a vehicle
A front fender cover attachment assembly for a vehicle includes a windshield molding, a hook assembly, a front fender cover, and an engaging member. The windshield molding is configured to receive a windshield. The hook assembly is connected to an end of the windshield molding. The front fender cover is configured to engage the hook assembly of the windshield molding. The engaging member is connected to the front fender cover and configured to engage the hook assembly. A free end of the hook assembly extends in a vehicle inboard direction.
