PIVOTING GUTTER SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a body including an A-pillar, and a windshield having an exterior surface and a lateral edge secured to the A-pillar. The A-pillar has a first part and a second part. The first part is positioned between the second part and the lateral edge of the windshield. The first part is movable relative to the second part from a stowed position wherein an outer surface of the first part is flush with an outer surface of the second part, and a deployed position wherein the outer surface of the first part extends obliquely relative to the outer surface of the second part such that in the deployed position the first part together with the second part define a gutter shaped to collect water flowing across the exterior surface of the windshield.
INCREASED VISIBILITY OF INDICATING MARKERS IN A STRUCTURE AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed herein is an indicating marker and method of use for removably attaching the indicating marker to a structure comprising an opening. The indicating marker comprises a cover device configured to removably seal the opening of the structure. At least one light is attached to the cover device. A power source is electrically connectable to the at least one light to emit a visible light from the at least light and illuminate the cover device. Alternatively, a wireless signal emitter is attached to the cover device and is configured to receive a signal from a wireless signal receiver separate from the structure and transmit a wireless response signal to the wireless signal receiver. In one example, both a light and a wireless signal emitter are attached to the cover device.
Vehicle bottom structure and manufacturing method of vehicle bottom structure
In a vehicle bottom structure, a floor panel to which a cross member is fixed is connected to a rocker inner which is a skeleton member. The floor panel and the rocker inner are sealed from a lower side by a lower seal member, but a region near the reinforcement member is a lower non-sealed part which cannot be sealed. Further, the floor panel and the rocker inner are sealed from an upper side by an upper seal member, but a region near the cross member is an upper non-sealed part which cannot be sealed. On respective sides of the upper non-sealed part, connecting seal members are provided, so that the lower seal member and the upper seal member are connected and a waterproof line is formed.

Retractable gutter system for a vehicle
A vehicle includes a body including an A-pillar, and a windshield having an exterior surface and a lateral edge secured to the A-pillar. The A-pillar has a first part and a second part. The first part is positioned on the second part along the lateral edge of the windshield. The first part is movable relative to the second part from a stowed position wherein an outer surface of the first part is flush with an outer surface of the second part, and a deployed position wherein the outer surface of the first part is positioned entirely outward from the outer surface of the second part. The first part includes a movable member that in the deployed position of the first part is shaped to collect water flowing across the exterior surface of the windshield.

Drainage system for a vehicle
A drainage system for a vehicle is disclosed herein. A drain is disposed within a vehicle substrate and has a floor. A receiver is disposed proximate to the floor. A cap feature is operably coupled to the drain and is operable between first and second positions relative to the drain. The cap feature includes an upper platform and a sidewall that extends generally downward from the upper platform. A cutout is defined by the cap feature and is configured to allow liquid to flow through the cap feature. An engagement feature is coupled to the cap feature and is operable between a disengaged position and an engaged position in which the engagement feature is engaged with the receiver. Movement of the cap feature from the first position to the second position moves the engagement feature from the disengaged position to the engaged position.
