Crossmember for motor vehicle construction
The invention relates to a crossmember for motor vehicle construction, having at least two modules that can be arranged one above the other, wherein each module has an inner side wall and an outer side wall, which are connected to one another at their upper ends by an upper wall and at their lower ends by a lower wall, wherein the upper wall of the lower module has, over the longitudinal extent thereof, a raised portion or depression, which engages in a complementary depression or raised portion of the lower wall of the upper module.
REAR VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE
A rear vehicle body structure includes two opposite rear side members to which wheelhouse panels are respectively coupled and spring seats positioned respectively at lower sides of the two opposite rear side members.
Extrusion with corner and center channels
The present disclosure is directed to extrusion for a vehicle component. The vehicle component includes a plurality of flanges that form a periphery of the vehicle component, a cavity that extends through the periphery of the vehicle component, a corner portion that is positioned proximate to a corner defined by a pair of the plurality of flanges, and a channel that is positioned proximate to the corner portion.
Sub-frame
A sub-frame includes: a main body portion that has a vehicle body support portion supported by a vehicle body; and a reinforcement plate that is attached to a bottom surface of the main body portion. The main body portion includes a torque rod support portion which supports a torque rod coupled to a power unit. The torque rod support portion has a first shaft support portion which supports one end of a shaft supporting the torque rod, a first opening portion into which the torque rod is able to be inserted, and a second opening portion which is formed below the first shaft support portion. The reinforcement plate has a second shaft support portion supporting the other end of the shaft and covers the second opening portion from below.
Adjustable glass track systems for vehicles with frameless doors
This disclosure details exemplary adjustable glass track systems for vehicles. In some embodiments, the glass track systems may establish a continuous sealing plane relative to a glass pane of a frameless door. In other embodiments, the glass track systems may additionally establish a continuous sealing plane relative to a vehicle roof structure. Exemplary adjustable glass track systems may include, among other features, a tubular frame rail, a channel rail, appliques, and seals.
BATTERY PACK WITH EFFICIENT COOLING PATH STRUCTURE AND IMPROVED SAFETY AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
A battery pack includes battery modules provided with a heatsink; a pack housing including a floor panel having an upper surface on which the battery modules are placed and a lower surface in which coolant channels for supplying and discharging a coolant to/from the heatsink of the battery modules, and a base plate disposed below the floor panel in a layered form; and a coolant supply pipe for selectively communicating with the coolant channels, coupled to an upper surface of the floor panel and disposed along a right side line of the floor panel; and a coolant discharge pipe for selectively communicating with the coolant channels, coupled to the upper surface of the floor panel and disposed along a left side line of the floor panel, with the coolant channels have a lower end fixedly coupled to the base plate.
Body for Vehicle
An embodiment vehicle body includes a tubular part extended in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle and having a hollow shape, a base part in which the tubular part is inserted, the base part integrally connecting an A pillar to a side portion of a roof, and an outer garnish shaped to be extended in the longitudinal direction along the base part and coupled to the base part to cover the base part.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRESS-FORMED PRODUCT, PRESS FORMING DIE, AND PRESS-FORMED PRODUCT
A press-formed product is manufactured by press-forming a blank material into an intermediate shape, and further press-forming the blank material from the intermediate shape into the press-formed product having a target shape. A product portion of the target shape includes a first ridge line portion and a second ridge line portion each having a radius of curvature of 20 mm or smaller and a bending angle of 130 degrees or larger. The product portion of the intermediate shape has a curved shape having a radius of curvature of 100 mm or larger or a linear shape in a specific cross section. A height of an excess thickness portion of the intermediate shape is higher than 10 mm with respect to a peripheral portion and lower than a height of the excess thickness portion of the target shape.
MULTI-PURPOSE VEHICLE CHASSIS
A vehicle chassis that can be used for more than its intended purpose where the vehicle chassis can be used to support a different vehicle body that its intended purpose or can be use to receive attachments that turn allows the vehicle to be used for a second application. The chassis includes a set of fastened cross-beams that provide support to the vehicle chassis allowing the chassis to support more weight.
Multi-material vehicle roof stiffener
A vehicle roof stiffener includes at least one fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) portion and at least one metal or metal alloy portion. The FRP portion includes at least one transition structure including a metal or a metal alloy. At least some of the fibers of the FRP portion are embedded in the transition structure. The metal or metal alloy portion is secured to the transition structure of the FRP portion. In an example vehicle roof stiffener, the metal portion extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of a vehicle, and the FRP portion extends transverse to the longitudinal axis. The example vehicle roof stiffener may include a front FRP portion, a rear FRP portion, and two metal side portions. The metal side portions and the FRP portions may be joined by welding the transition structures to the metal portions.
