Various implementations include a cutting tool for the horizontal incision of tendons. The tool comprises a stem extending along a longitudinal axis, having a distal end, a proximal end and a cutting head, located close to said distal end, having a base plate, having a longitudinal extension axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the stem, and a blade extending on a plane parallel to the base plate. The blade has a plurality of cutting edges inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the cutting head according to different angles, so as to identify at least two vertices defined by two V-shaped profiles.
TOOL FOR THE SUBCUTANEOUS CUTTING OF TENDONS
Various implementations include a tool for the subcutaneous cutting of tendons. The tool includes a shaft, arranged along a longitudinal axis, having a proximal end and a distal end, a grip, provided at the proximal end, comprising a fixed handle and a movable trigger, and a cutting head placed at the distal end, which comprises a tendon harvesting tip provided with a groove and a blade. The blade and the harvesting tip are movable relative to each other on a plane which contains the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The blade is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of said shaft.
CATHETER COMPRISING A CUTTING ELEMENT
A catheter including a cutting element and an insertion tube, wherein the springy resilient cutting element (1) consists of a sleeve (1a) and profiled longitudinal arms (1b) with sharp endings (1c), protruding from it and directed towards an atraumatic tip (7), wherein the element (1) is mounted on an assembly (2) of an inner tube.
TREATMENT DEVICE
A treatment device is disclosed, which includes a dissecting section main body which is configured to dissect tissue in a living body when inserted into the living body along a blood vessel, and which has a slit permitting a branch vessel branched from the blood vessel to enter into the slit, a stanching section which is disposed at the slit and which presses and cauterizes the branch vessel introduced into the slit, and a cutting section which is disposed at the slit and which cuts the cauterized branch vessel.
DISSECTING DEVICE
A dissecting device that includes a grasping section and a dissecting member. The grasping section has an insertion lumen that permits an imaging device to be positioned therein. The dissecting member is at the distal portion of the grasping section and is insertable into a living body and movable along a blood vessel to dissect tissue surrounding the blood vessel. The dissecting member includes a base part having a lumen that communicates with the insertion lumen and a dissecting section which extends distally from the base part. The dissecting section is configured to dissect the tissue in the living body when the dissecting member is moved along the blood vessel. The dissecting member includes a blood vessel guide passage that accepts a branch vessel branched from the blood vessel at the distal portion of the dissecting member and guides the branch vessel toward the base part.
DISSECTING DEVICE AND DISSECTING SYSTEM
A dissecting device for dissecting tissue surrounding a blood vessel in a living body. The dissecting device includes a grasping section that includes an insertion lumen. The dissecting device includes a dissecting member at the distal portion of the grasping section. The dissecting member is insertable into the living body along the blood vessel to dissect the tissue surrounding the blood vessel in the living body. The dissecting member includes a treating section and a protruding section. The treating section performs a predetermined treatment of a branch vessel branching from the blood vessel. The protruding section protrudes from the treating section in the thickness direction of the treating section. The protruding section includes a guide section configured to guide the branch vessel toward the treating section.
CUTTING TOOL FOR THE VERTICAL INCISION OF A TENDON
A cutting tool for the vertical incision of tendons comprising a shaft extending along a longitudinal axis, having a distal end and a proximal end, and a cutting head, located close to said distal end, having a plurality of blades. The cutting head lies on a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft and is connected to the latter by a coupling inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis by an angle from 10° to 20°, preferably of 15°.
Endoscopic vessel harvesting system components
Components for an endoscopic vessel harvesting system suitable for harvesting target vessels such as the saphenous vein or radial artery for cardiac artery bypass graft surgery. The main components of such systems include a vessel dissector and a vessel harvester, both of which work in conjunction with a separately provided endoscope. The vessel dissector is an elongated cannula having a blunt tip for separating layers of facial around vessels. The tip may be movable, and is typically transparent to permit viewing forward of the tip using the endoscope. Internal features of the tip may reduce glare back to the endoscope. Several devices improve visibility through the tip by reducing interference from tissue or fluid on the tip. The vessel harvester also has an elongated cannula for receiving the endoscope. Several tools within the harvester permit manipulation, severing, and sealing of vessels forward of the distal end. The tool for manipulating vessels may have a low-profile for increased visibility of operation, and may be coupled to the cannula with a damping mechanism to reduce the possibility of avulsion of the vessels. Various vessel cutting and sealing devices are provided that may accommodate various sizes of vessels and improve cutting and sealing efficacy.
Unitary endoscopic vessel harvesting devices
Unitary endoscopic vessel harvesting devices are disclosed. In some embodiments, such devices may comprise an elongated body having a proximal end and a distal end. A conical tip may be disposed at the distal end of the elongated body. In addition, the surgical instrument may include one or more surgical instruments moveable in a longitudinal direction along an axis substantially parallel to a central longitudinal axis of the cannula from a retracted position proximally of a distal end of the tip to an advanced position toward the distal end of the tip to seal and cut a blood vessel.
BLOOD VESSEL DISSECTION DEVICE AND BLOOD VESSEL DISSECTION METHOD
A blood vessel dissecting device is disclosed, which includes a dissecting device configured to be inserted into a living body along a blood vessel to dissect tissue surrounding the vessel from tissue surrounding the vessel in a direction along a longitudinal extent of the blood vessel; and a cutting device configured to fee inserted into the living body along the longitudinal extent of the blood vessel to cut the tissue surrounding the blood vessel so the direction of longitudinal extent of the blood vessel.
