A truck bed storage system provides multiple different use configurations, including a cap, a rack, and a bed cover. Elements of the system are reconfigurable to assemble the different use configurations. The system is easily assembled, reconfigured, or disassembled. The system includes a modular frame which connects to the truck bed and is used in the rack and cap configurations. A bed cover is removably attached to the top of the frame in the cap configuration, and connects to the top of the bed in the bed cover configuration. Removable panels attach to the frame in the cap configuration.

Present embodiments provide an automated system for laying pipe which includes various clearing functions in order to clear impingements and jams of pipe being fed to a conveyor or other structure while dispensing the pipe from the trailer. Some embodiments include uprights which are adjustable to increase the carrying capacity of piping. Other embodiments provide adjustable members which raise and lower to aid in clearing the pipe. Other embodiments provide a gate or arm which may be actuated to push or hold pipes back allowing one pipe to feed at a time. Still further, a transition cradle may be utilized to hold pipes back and actuate a single pipe. These features allow for clearing of various types of jams in the feed process so that a single pipe may be cleanly actuated to a conveyor for feeding from the vehicle.

An extendable and retractable truck cap for a truck having a bed assembly having opposed first and second bed sidewalls that define first and second sidewall recesses, and having a cross wall that defines a cross wall recess. Extendable and retractable post assemblies are mounted on the bed in the first and second wall recesses and wall raising arms are mounted thereon. The wall raising arms raise and lower first and second roll-up sidewalls. A roll-up cover wall is disposed in the cross wall recess and are movable over the wall raising arms thus protecting the bed. In another embodiment there is provided an extendable and retractable panel cap where in the roll-up sidewalls are replaced with first and second cap panels. In another embodiment there is an extendable and retractable cab deployable panel cap having a cab panel that is extendable retractable over the bed.

A harvesting combine has a forward operator's cab and having a rear, and carrying laterally extending side trim panels from just behind the operator's cab to the rear of the harvesting combine. Deployment arms are pivotally affixed at their proximal ends to the harvesting combine and pivotally affixed to the side trim panels at their distal ends. The deployment arms are generally horizontal when the deployment arms are retracted. The deployment arm distal ends are movable outwardly and upwardly to deploy the side trim panels away from the harvesting combine. A pivoting plank carried by the inside of the side trim panels and deployable from a generally vertical stowed position to a generally horizontal position when the side trim panels have been deployed.

An automobile accessory is configured to quickly convert a truck bed into an enclosed cargo compartment, passenger compartment, or camping compartment. The automobile accessory has a truck cabin joined to a truck bed and further comprising a truck cabin rear bulkhead. At least two pockets are arranged proximate a plurality of roller skids on the truck bed. A chassis is joined to a cargo, passenger, or camping compartment having a compartment forward bulkhead. A gasket is joined to the passenger compartment forward bulkhead. The chassis is detachably secured to the truck bed and further comprising at least two rollers. Rolling the at least two rollers into the at least two pockets and installing the gooseneck or fifth wheel adapter joins the chassis to a truck under-bed gooseneck/fifth wheel hitch and the passenger compartment forward bulkhead compresses the gasket creating a seal between the passenger compartment and the truck cabin.
