Polyolefin resin composition, molded article, and outer panel for a vehicle
A polyolefin resin composition, containing: a polyolefin resin; and cellulose microfibrils, in which a content of the cellulose microfibrils is 0.5 to 20 parts by mass, with respect to 100 parts by mass of an entire resin component in the polyolefin resin composition, a molded article and a back door for a vehicle.
AN APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REDUCING DRAG ON MOVING VEHICLES
An apparatus for reducing drag and wake formation behind moving vehicles such as road transport vehicles, motor cycles and bicycles including electric bicycles comprising one or more vents, each of those vents having a proximal end and a distal end, both ends being open and positioned and aligned longitudinally in the direction of travel in such a way as to addressing wake and boundary layer formation of a moving vehicle, said vents, positioned spaced from turbulent rear surfaces of the vehicle and affixed to the main body of the vehicle by one or more connecting members.
LOWER VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
A shield may be provided between a rear bumper and a silencer, the shield may be provided so as to extend in the vehicle width direction to overlap with at least a rear vertical wall of the silencer in the up-down direction in vehicle rear view, and the shield may be provided with a guider that guides underfloor traveling air downward, the underfloor traveling air flowing to the rear side through a lower portion of the silencer.
ACTIVE REAR DIFFUSER FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle having a vehicle body including a front portion, an opposing rear end portion and an underbody portion configured to face a road surface; and an active diffuser assembly disposed on the underbody portion and configured to control ambient airflow passing under the vehicle body. The active diffuser assembly includes a fixed panel disposed on the vehicle underbody; a movable active panel disposed adjacent the fixed panel and configured for selective movement to be deployed away from the vehicle body and to be retracted toward the vehicle body for stowage; and an actuator configured to deploy and retract the movable active panel, the fixed panel and the movable active panel defining a continuous plane when the movable panel is in the stowed position.
Rear spoiler device for a motor vehicle
A rear spoiler device for a motor vehicle contains an upper shell which has an air-guiding outer wall. The upper shell extends longitudinally from a leading edge to a trailing edge and has a central main part and two side parts. The side parts are oriented so as to be inclined relative to the main part and are integrally connected to the main part on a longitudinally extending folded edge. A carrier element is provided which is fastenable to the motor vehicle and which has at least one retaining tab for fastening the upper shell. It is provided that a fastening tab which protrudes in the direction of the retaining tab of the carrier element and which extends along the folded edge is arranged on the inner face of the upper shell remote from the air-guiding outer wall.
Deployable Active D-Pillar Spoiler for Vehicles
A system for deploying D-pillar spoilers on a vehicle is described. The system includes a deployment control system including controller logic having at least one processor and a memory storing instructions for implementing deployment and retraction of D-pillar spoilers on a vehicle. The system also includes at least one vehicle sensor in communication with the deployment control system. The system further includes a motor in communication with the deployment control system. At least one D-pillar spoiler is connected to the motor through a linkage, where the motor is configured to rotate the linkage. The at least one D-pillar spoiler is folded along an underside of a rear upper spoiler of the vehicle in a retracted position and is rotated to a position extending between the rear upper spoiler of the vehicle and a D pillar of the vehicle in a deployed position.
DRAG REDUCTION SPOILER
A drag reduction spoiler for a vehicle includes a fixed portion configured for attachment to the vehicle and an extendable top portion configured for movement relative to the fixed portion, the extendable top portion includes a first top portion and a second top portion. The drag reduction spoiler further includes first and second side spoiler portions configured for movement relative to the vehicle, and at least one actuator configured to deploy the extendable top portion, the at least one actuator being secured to the first top portion. The first top portion includes a first engagement element and the second top portion includes a second engagement element, the first engagement element being configured to engage the second engagement element when the first top portion is deployed by the at least one actuator such that the first top portion draws the second top portion outwardly as the first top portion is deployed.
VEHICLE TAILGATE
To improve the appearance of a tailgate provided with a rear spoiler, a tailgate of a vehicle includes a tailgate main body having a rear window opening a rear spoiler extending rearward from a part of the tailgate main body above the rear window opening a rear window panel that is mounted on an outer peripheral portion of the rear window opening of an outer surface of the tailgate main body and closes the rear window opening and a plate-shaped shield member mounted on a lower surface of the rear spoiler so as to shield a space formed between the lower surface of the rear spoiler and an upper end portion of the rear window panel.
