Rotating spare tire lift system
A system for accessing a wheel of a vehicle includes a support, a carrier, and a hinge joint. The support is affixed in a recess of a vehicle bed, and is positioned below the surface of the vehicle bed. The carrier is configured to be affixed to the wheel. When the carrier is affixed to the wheel, both the carrier and the wheel are accommodated in the recess and move as a substantially rigid body. The hinge joint couples the support and the carrier. The hinge joint has an axis substantially parallel to the ground and laterally across the vehicle bed. The carrier is capable of rotating about the hinge joint. The carrier and the wheel are capable of being rotated about the hinge joint out of the recess and onto the vehicle bed. One or more rotational elements may be included to affect rotational motion of the carrier.
Two-way Foldable Spare Tire Rack for Vehicle
Disclosed is a two-way foldable spare tire rack for a vehicle comprises a fixed frame assembly and a movable bar frame assembly, wherein the fixed frame assembly comprises a positioning joint pipe, a support pipe arranged above the positioning joint pipe, a rotating member and a rotation limiting member, wherein the positioning joint pipe and the support pipe form a rotatable structure through the rotating member, and the rotation limiting member is used for limiting the rotation between the support pipe and the positioning joint pipe to keep them in the use state; a long bracket pipe is fixed above the support pipe, and a bracket plate is fixed at the free end of the long bracket pipe; the movable bar frame assembly comprises an adjusting plate, a movable square pipe and at least one locking member which are rotationally connected, wherein the adjusting plate is fixedly connected to one side of the positioning joint pipe, and the locking member is used for locking the adjusting plate and the movable square pipe in the use state; the fixed frame assembly and the movable bar frame assembly of the vehicle spare tire rack can be folded, the movable bar frame assembly is convenient for packaging and delivery through folding, and the fixed frame assembly is convenient for the spare tire on the bracket plate to be transferred to contact with the ground surface and then disassembled, so that the disassembly and assembly are convenient.
Spare Tire Removal Tool
This present invention relates to a spare tire removal tool for quickly and easily releasing a spare tire from the underside of a frame or chassis of a vehicle, such as a SUV, RV, truck or the like. The spare tire removal tool is comprised of two elongated poles that are removably connected to one another, and are rotated by an automatic cordless electric tool to control the turning speed and rotation of the poles for lowering a spare tire or raising a flat or otherwise damaged tire into the spare tire mount. The electric tool is preferably battery powered.
SPARE TIRE MOUNT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
A spare tire mount for the rear of a motor vehicle has a first outer support frame with a second, inner support frame nested inside and releasably connected to the first frame. Both frames extend laterally across the back of the vehicle and extend upward at an angle. Both frames rotate about a vertical joint at the rear bumper so the frames rotate toward and away from the vehicle. The second frame holds the spare tire and rotates about a horizontal axis. A wire rope winds around a reel on the first frame with the rope connected to the second frame to raise and lower the second frame and tire as they rotate about the first horizontal axis—toward and away from the first frame and ground. The reel is rotated by a worm screw and worm wheel.

Tire rack securing system
This disclosure relates to the use of modified and specifically adapted e-track storage components to facilitate the security and stabilizing of tires in an existing mounted tire rack. The tire rack could be one mounted on a wall within a storage facility or garage or one mounted in a mobile environment such as the interior or exterior of a trailer.
RECONFIGURABLE BED RACK SYSTEM AND METHOD
A reconfigurable bed rack system and methods of manufacture and use that is dynamic, adaptable, lightweight, and easy to install are provided. The bed rack system may include a plurality of U-shaped modular telescoping support structures that allow for a height adjustment to the rack without uninstalling the rack from the truck bed. Through the telescoping feature of the U-shaped support structures, a height dimension of the bed rack system may be increased or decreased. One or more side and/or upper rails may extend between the plurality of U-shaped modular telescoping supports for attaching one or more mounting brackets to secure equipment, tools and/or supplies to the bed rack system. The rack system may also include a tire hoist bracket assembly including a hoisting system to store a spare tire against an upper, inner surface of the rack system.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LOADING A SPARE TIRE OF A VEHICLE
An apparatus and a method for loading a spare tire of a vehicle are provided so that the spare tire does not appear on a bottom of a luggage compartment of the vehicle without interfering with a space or a structure for mounting a battery. The apparatus and the method for loading the spare tire of the vehicle includes: a jack-up device for providing a supporting force to support the spare tire positioned on an upper side thereof in a state of being stored in an accessory storage space of a vehicle body panel; and a support assembly installed in the accessory storage space of the vehicle body panel to support the spare tire loaded thereon.
Apparatus with rotatable mounting assembly
According to examples, an apparatus may include an elongated member, a mounting assembly, and a support member. The mounting assembly may include an extension section having a first end and a second end and a first connection member connected to the first end of the extension section and having a first opening, in which the elongated member may extend through the first opening in the first connection member, and in which the first connection member may be slidable along a length of the elongated member and rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the elongated member. The mounting assembly may also include a second connection member connected the second end of the extension section and having a second opening, in which the support member may extend through the second opening.
User friendly apparatus and method for retaining and removing a spare tire from a storage position in a motor vehicle
An apparatus is provided for retaining a spare tire in a storage position on a motor vehicle. The apparatus includes a retainer assembly and a cooperating post. The retainer assembly includes a housing and a first actuator, a first retainer and a first biasing element carried by the housing. The post includes a retainer receiver wherein the first biasing element biases the first retainer into engagement with the retainer receiver. A related method of removing a spare tire from a storage position in a motor vehicle is also presented.
