ARTICULATING MOTOR VEHICLE FLOOR ASSEMBLY WITH LIFT ASSIST
A motor vehicle floor assembly includes an articulating floor body having a first panel and a second panel supported by a linkage. The linkage includes a first link connected to the first panel, a second link connected to the second panel and a first pivot connecting the first link to the second link and defining an articulation joint for the articulating floor body.
Spare wheel lift mechanism for a motor vehicle
A spare wheel lift mechanism is provided for a motor vehicle. That spare wheel lift mechanism includes a holder for receiving and holding the spare wheel and a support for the holder. The support is displaceable between a wheel storage position within a storage compartment of the motor vehicle and an access position wherein the spare wheel projects at least partially outside the body of the motor vehicle for easy access. A method of assisting an individual with access to a spare wheel stored in a storage compartment of a motor vehicle is also provided.
Spare tire carrier device
The present invention involves a spare tire carrier and handling device for mounting on a vehicle. The device is adapted for moving a spare tire between a stored position under a vehicle to an accessible position. The device may be mounted so as to be accessible from the rear, side, or front of a vehicle as desired.
Trailer overhang storage
A trailer vehicle with a forward storage compartment is provided, which maximizes usable space within the trailer vehicle and offers improved storage for the user. The trailer vehicle comprises a towed vehicle with a front overhang portion extending from the front end thereof. The front overhang supports a fifth wheel kingpin connector, and further comprises an enclosed interior volume above the connector. Along a lower surface of the front overhang, one or more storage doors are provided. The storage doors provide access to the interior of the front overhang. Raising and lowering of the storage doors may be assisted by way of a cable winch or fluid-spring struts. Moreover, the storage doors may support specific items, such as spare tires using a tire saddle disposed thereon. Finally, each of the doors is hinged affixed to the overhang and includes securable latches to maintain the doors in a closed state.
Tire carrier and bedslide attachment systems
A modular accessory attachment system for a tire carrier, a bike rack, container, or other structure that can be selectively attached to either a bedslide, cargo box bed, or tailgate hitch, is provided. The modular accessory attachment system may include a plurality of receivers disposed through the deck of the bedslide. Correspondingly sized posts may be extend from the tire carrier, bike rack, other racks, or accessories, and be disposed into the receivers. Pins, detents, or other like attachment means may be employed to secure the posts to the receivers.

TIRE HOIST APPARATUS
A tire hoist apparatus for lifting and lowering spare tires at a rear of a vehicle includes a hitch mount which is shaped and configured to attach to a hitch receiver tube of the vehicle. A frame is coupled to the hitch mount and is shaped and configured to accommodate a spare tire positioned vertically above the hitch receiver tube. A cable is mounted to the frame and is movable with respect to the frame to alternately lift and lower a free end of the cable with respect to the frame. An upper portion of the frame is pivotable on a lower portion of the frame.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes: a vehicle body including an opening part located in a rear part of the vehicle; a hatch supported by the vehicle body so as to be able to open and close the opening part; an under hatch component located inside the vehicle with respect to the opening part; and a rack movably supported by the vehicle body between a first position facing the under-hatch component and a second position retracted from the first position. The under-hatch component is exposed outside through the opening part in a state where the hatch is opened and the rack is located in the second position.
Spare wheel carrier with a rotatable latch for rotating the spare wheel
A spare wheel carrier intended to be mounted on a motor vehicle comprising a chassis for storing a spare wheel, the spare wheel carrier comprising a mounting bracket intended to be mounted on the chassis of the motor vehicle; a latch mounted on the mounting bracket, the spare wheel being intended to be attached to the latch, wherein the latch is movable, with at least a rotation movement relative to the mounting bracket, between a storage position in which the spare wheel is intended to extend in a horizontal plane, in a horizontal position and a release position in which the spare wheel is intended to extend in a vertical plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane, in a vertical position perpendicular to the horizontal position.
