A method of manufacturing a resin-laminated board by preparing a pair of first and second split molds each of which is provided with a cavity; positioning two sheet materials made of a thermoplastic resin between the first and second split molds with the cavities of the first and second split molds opposed to each other; forming a plurality of recesses by recessing a first sheet material toward a second sheet material with use of a plurality of protrusions provided to the first split mold; and welding bottoms of the recesses to the second sheet material by clamping the pair of first and second split molds to obtain a resin-laminated board with a hollow structure. A mold includes a plurality of piece members, disposed at the cavity of the first split mold; and includes the protrusions and male screws provided to base ends of the protrusions.

ADJUSTABLE CRADLE FOR MOVEMENT OF AN AUTOMOTIVE SPARE TIRE

A cradle for a spare tire includes a hub, arms extending from the hub, fasteners configured to secure the spare tire to the cradle, and wheels on the arms to support the cradle for movement. The arms have adjustable radial lengths. The fasteners are adjustable for different tire sizes.

Reversible load floor

A reversible load floor for a vehicle includes a first side defining a planar surface. The reversible load floor also includes a second side disposed opposite of the first side. The second side includes a container, which extends from the second side along a vertical axis at a center of a spare tire such that, in a first position, the first side is accessible via a cargo compartment and the container is disposed over the spare tire, and, in a second position, the first side extends across a top of the spare tire and the container is accessible via the cargo compartment.

An illuminated spare tire cover, designed to enclose an externally mounted spare tire, has an outer covering with a plurality of grommeted openings therethrough. The openings form a pattern. An electric light is located within each opening, such that a lighted image is created through the pattern when the lights are illuminated. Strips of Velcro hold the lights in place. The lights can be configured as various images, logos, symbols, lettering, etc. An internal layer made of non-flammable material fits over the interior surface of the outer covering to insulate and support the cover and reinforce the lights located within the interior surface of the outer covering. The cover is equipped with electrical wiring and an electrical connector plug. An extension cord is connected to the vehicle's electrical outlet and run under the vehicle's seats to be connected to the electric connector plug.

Spare tire with sound exciter

An apparatus includes, among other things, a spare tire cover comprising an attaching ring configured to surround an outer circumference of a tire and a center panel that is attached to the attaching ring. At least one exciter is mounted to the center panel. A method includes, among other things, molding at least one temperature sensor to a center panel, mounting the center panel to enclose one open side of an attaching ring to form a spare tire cover, and mounting at least one exciter to the center panel to selectively generate a desired sound.

Vehicles, latches and latch assemblies with retaining brackets

Vehicles, latches and latch assemblies are provided with retaining brackets for selective engagement with hinges. In an exemplary embodiment, a latch assembly includes a body having an arm extending to a shaft defining an axis. The latch assembly further includes a hinge configured to slide in a tangential direction to the axis into engagement with the shaft and configured to rotate about the shaft to selected angular positions. Also, the latch assembly includes a retaining bracket configured for fixed connected to the body and for selective engagement with the hinge at the selected angular positions.
