Modular counterweight
A modular counterweight system includes a housing, a bracket, and an actuator. The housing is configured to selectively interface with a plurality of counterweights, facilitating incremental adjustment of an overall weight of the modular counterweight system. The bracket is configured to couple the housing to the vehicle, and the housing is at least one of (i) pivotally coupled to the bracket, (ii) extensionally coupled to the bracket, and (iii) translationally coupled to the bracket. The actuator is positioned to selectively reconfigure at least one of the housing and the bracket and thereby change the center of gravity of the modular counterweight system.
Working Machine
A working machine comprising a chassis; first and second elongate support members, each elongate support member being pivotally coupled to the chassis at a respective pivot point; a first wheel assembly coupled to the first elongate support member and a second wheel assembly coupled to the second elongate support member; a first linear actuator coupled to the first elongate support member and a second linear actuator coupled to the second elongate support member, wherein the elongate support members are movable by operation of the actuators between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration. A distance between the first and second wheel assemblies is greater in the deployed configuration than in the stowed configuration. The first and second linear actuators are pivotally coupled to the chassis along a common pivot axis.
METHOD OF PROVIDING A BALLASTING PROPOSAL
A method for making available a ballasting proposal for an agricultural tractor includes providing an implement for the tractor, calculating a target tractive power for the implement for each axle of the agricultural tractor, and deriving a target value for an axle load to be maintained on each axle based upon a function of the calculated target tractive power. The method further includes determining an actual axle load on each axle, comparing the target value to the actual axle load, calculating an axle ballasting value based on a result of the comparing step required to maintain the target valve, and outputting the ballasting value.
ADD-ON WHEEL WEIGHT FOR A VEHICLE
An add-on wheel weight for a work machine that includes a weight disc and a mounting configured to attach to a wheel rim. The weight disc includes a closure mechanism that may be actuated manually or by outside force. The closure mechanism has an axially running guide opening configured to receive a coupling element associated with the mounting and has a releasable locking element for latching the coupling element inside the guide opening.
Dynamic ballast for a work machine
A ballast device for a work vehicle. The ballast device comprising a rail coupled to the work vehicle. A carrier is slidingly coupled to the rail. The carrier comprises a pin having an axis of rotation. An actuator is coupled to the carrier and configured to move the carrier along the rail. A counterweight is rotatably coupled to the pin. A rotation device is coupled to the counterweight and configured for rotating the counterweight about the axis of rotation. A sensor is coupled to the work vehicle and configured for determining a center of gravity of the work vehicle and for generating a signal indicative of the center of gravity. A controller is configured for receiving the signal and configured for controlling the actuator and the rotation device to position the counterweight at an optimized location.
Public works vehicle provided with counterweight lifting system
A public works vehicle has a base, moving means supporting the base, brackets joined to the frame of the base, a lifting system suitable for lifting a counterweight. The lifting system has a first arm hinged to the frame, at least one thrust actuator connected to the frame and to the first arm to move the first arm, a second arm slidingly mounted with respect to the first arm, a lifting actuator connected to the first arm and to the second arm to move the second arm, a connection system connected to the second arm and to the counterweight.

An industrial vehicle including a frame, a counterweight connected to a rear part of the frame, and a drive device disposed in a lower position of the counterweight to drive rear wheels. The counterweight has an opening extending in a vertical direction. At least part of the drive device is disposed immediately below the opening.
