TOW ASSIST SYSTEM
Systems are provided for assisting in towing a trailer by a lead vehicle. A wheeled tow assist unit couples between the lead vehicle and the trailer. A drive unit onboard the tow assist unit drives the wheels in response to a force between the trailer and the tow assist unit. The tow assist unit bears at least a portion of the force required to tow the trailer.
FORESTRY MACHINE
A forestry machine includes a ground propulsion apparatus, a chassis supported by the ground propulsion apparatus, a cab, an engine and a work implement. The chassis includes a front chassis portion and a rear chassis portion. The front chassis portion includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The rear chassis portion has a wood basket supported thereon. The cab is rotatably supported on the front chassis portion by a rotatable connection about a cab rotation axis to be selectively rotated 360 degrees. The engine is integrated into the front chassis portion. At least a part of the engine is disposed below an upper most surface of the upper portion. The work implement is movably attached to the cab. The work implement includes a boom movably attached to the cab, an arm movably attached to the boom, and a work tool attached to the arm.
CONTAINER-SWAPPABLE VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A container-swappable vehicle includes a container including a container body for receiving a cargo loaded therein, a rotation shaft at a front end portion or a rear end portion thereof, and a coupling body surrounding an external circumferential surface of the rotation shaft, the rotation shaft and the coupling body being connected to each other to be relatively rotated therebetween; and a drive module including a drive device to perform driving, a coupling space including an open side, and a magnetic module provided in the coupling space to allow the coupling body of the container to enter the coupling space through an opening portion by driving toward the coupling body of the container and move the container through driving by the magnetic module being fastened to the coupling body by magnetic force.
HIGH CAPACITY CARGO AND CONTAINER DOLLY
A high capacity cargo/container dolly. The cargo/container dolly includes retractable side stops that actively retract a roller linkage assembly upon retraction of the retractable side stops rather than relying on passive gravitational forces for the retraction. In some embodiments, the retractable side stops are configured to avoid hold up on the cargo during retraction. The retractable side stops may be coupled to a retraction mechanism that may be actuated from either side of the cargo/container dolly, as well as from one or both ends of the cargo/container dolly. The dolly may include aspects that accommodates dynamic loads that occur during transport to mitigate inadvertent retraction of the retractable side stops or spurious release of catch assemblies that retains cargo on the dolly. The dolly may also include self-locking roller assemblies that release only in the presence of cargo, and deck modules that protect the deck roller from road spray contamination.
MODULAR KINEMATIC STEERING DEVICE
Modular kinematic steering device, for installation on at least a first module and module of a system of modular vehicles, each module including at least two axes, for each axis, a kinematic steering mechanism adapted to move wheels connected to the axis, a rudder for controlling the kinematic steering mechanism, arranged transversely relative to the axes, the rudder constrainable to the mechanism to transmit rudder motion to the wheels by the mechanism, the rudder defining a variable steering ratio relative to each axis, a mechanism locking device, to make one of the axes a fulcrum rotation of the rudder rigidly connecting the mechanism with the rudder, wherein the first module includes a first rudder having first and second distal ends and the second module includes a second rudder having first and second distal ends, and the distal ends countered and/or counter-shaped to be rigidly connected to each other.
Modular beam hauler
A modular trailer includes: a front module including a frame, a plurality of axles connected to the frame, and a plurality of wheels connected to each axle; a rear module including a frame, a plurality of axles connected to the frame, and a plurality of wheels connected to each axle; a center module including a frame having a front end and a rear end, the front end removably pinned to the front module and the rear end removably pinned to the rear module, the center module further including a bearing rotatable relative to the frame; and a steering device operatively associated with the bearing and co-acting with at least one of the axles such that rotation of the bearing effects turning of the at least one axle. A towing system and a module of a modular trailer are also disclosed.
HITCHES AND CONNECTIONS FOR AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE
This disclosure relates to systems and methods of towing, hitching, and connecting devices. In particular, this disclosure relates to tow devices, hitches, and connections for towing item containers behind vehicles, both autonomous and manually guided.
MATERIALS HANDLING VEHICLE PATH VALIDATION AND DYNAMIC PATH MODIFICATION
A materials handling vehicle comprising a path validation tool and a drive unit, steering unit, localization module, and navigation module that cooperate to navigate the vehicle along a warehouse travel path. The tool comprises warehouse layout data, a proposed travel path, vehicle kinematics, and a dynamic vehicle boundary that approximates the vehicle physical periphery. The tool executes path validation logic to determine vehicle pose along the proposed travel path, update the dynamic vehicle boundary to account for changes in vehicle speed and steering angle, determine whether the dynamic vehicle boundary is likely to intersect obstacles represented in the layout data based on the determined vehicle pose at candidate positions along the proposed travel path, determine a degree of potential impingement at the candidate positions by referring to the dynamic vehicle boundary and obstacle data, and modify the proposed travel path to mitigate the degree of potential impingement.
Truck Saver
The Truck Saver is a removable apparatus used for attaching a boat trailer to a tow vehicle. Measuring at 13 feet 1 inch The Truck
Saver prevents the tow vehicle from submerging into the water during launching and retrieving a boat. The equipment comprises of 2 metal poles one pole is 6-foot-long and the second is 6 foot 6 inches, at the end is a ball mount. To explain, the ball mount is the attached to the towing vehicle. On the other side of The
Truck Saver remains a 12 inch by 12-inch square platform with two 15-inch wheels and an exchangeable tow ball used to mount a boat trailer. The length of the metal rods extends the distance from the truck and boat trailer allowing the user to submerge the boat while keeping the integrity of the truck pristine and unaffected by the water. Once boat retrieval is accomplished it can be disassembled for transport and storage.
Work Vehicle
A work vehicle includes a vehicle body, a plurality of traveling devices disposed on the right and left sides on the front and rear sides of the vehicle body respectively, a plurality of bending link mechanisms configured to liftably support each one of the traveling devices to the vehicle body and a plurality of drive operating devices capable of changing the posture of each one of the plurality of bending link mechanisms. The vehicle body is split into a front side body section and a rear side body section. The front side body section and the rear side body section are configured to be bendably pivotable relative to each other via a pivot interlocking mechanism.
