The daughter cart includes a part support adapted to carry one or more parts, and an electrically powered actuator coupled to the part support and configured, when powered, to selectively impart movement to the part support to manipulate its placement. The energy generation system includes a generator configured to convert energy from the mother cart's movement into electrical energy usable to power the actuator in the daughter cart.
