TRAILER
20220371500 · 2022-11-24 ·

A trailer for transporting a vehicle includes a longitudinal beam extending between a forward end from which the trailer is towed and a rearward end. The trailer includes a platform having a top extending between a back and a front of the platform. The top has a support for receiving a rearward wheel of the vehicle. The platform has a mount for releasably attaching the beam to the platform. The platform has an axle extending laterally below a bottom of the platform. The trailer includes a carriage assembly having frame. A top surface of the frame includes a rest for supporting a forward wheel of the vehicle. The carriage assembly includes a connector for selectively connecting the carriage assembly to the beam in front of the platform so the carriage assembly is moveable along the beam.

Trailer

The disclosure relates to a trailer for hauling tyres. The trailer includes a frame having a front end, a rear end and a pair of parallel elongate chassis rails. The trailer also includes one or more pairs of transverse rails, each pair of transverse rails being adapted to support one or more tyres in an upstanding position thereon. Each pair of transverse rails is longitudinally translatable with respect to the elongate chassis rails between the front and rear ends of the frame. Each transverse rail in the pair is independently longitudinally translatable with respect to the elongate chassis rails so that the spacing of the pair of transverse rails may be varied to suit a tyre diameter. The trailer is also provided with a tyre stillage associated with each pair of transverse rails for supporting one or more upstanding tyres thereagainst.

Shiplap bonding system and method

Embodiments of the invention provide a storage container including a roof and two opposing side walls. At least one of the roof and the two side walls comprises a panel member including an inner skin, an outer skin, and a core between the inner skin and the outer skin. The panel member also including an inner skin trailing edge extending beyond the core and the outer skin and an outer skin leading edge, opposite the inner skin trailing edge, extending beyond the core and the inner skin. A viscoelastic tape is provided along the trailing edge and leading edge to maintain the position of the panel. Multiple panels can be joined with an adhesive material, with the viscoelastic tape maintaining the connection between the panels while the adhesive material sets and preventing the adhesive material from exiting past the trailing and leading edges.

A flooring apparatus and method of making the same are provided. The apparatus and method, in one embodiment, may include providing an elongated member having a top surface. A first adhesive is deposited about a perimeter of the top surface of the elongated member. A second adhesive is deposited within the perimeter of the top surface of the elongated member, with the second adhesive having a lower viscosity than the first adhesive and being retained within the perimeter by the first adhesive. A friction-increasing member is then heated to a pre-heat temperature. The friction-increasing member is disposed on the first and second adhesive to form the flooring apparatus. The flooring apparatus is then cured at a curing temperature, in one embodiment, that is greater than the pre-heat temperature.

A trailer includes a set of removable castor wheels attached to a rear portion thereof, wherein the castor wheels are oriented to face rearwardly when the trailer is oriented in the traditional horizontal position. This arrangement allows the trailer to be tilted upwardly into a vertical orientation so that it rests on the castor wheels, thus providing an apparatus and method for easily moving and storing trailers more efficiently due to the reduced footprint required for such trailer storage. The castor wheels, in one embodiment, include mounting brackets that may be attached to the trailer using a securing rod, similarly to the mounting mechanisms commonly used for removably attaching trailer hitches into trailer hitch sleeves, thus rendering the castor wheels removable from the trailer when they are not in use for storage purposes.

Material collection and transfer cart

An apparatus includes a base frame, first and second bins, first and second hydraulic assemblies, and a computer controller. The first hydraulic assembly is configured to selectively raise and lower the first bin relative to the base frame. The second hydraulic assembly is configured to selectively raise and lower the second bin relative to the base frame. The first and second hydraulic assemblies are individually actuable, and their actuation is coordinated by the controller. In another aspect, a method for transferring product using an apparatus includes inputting to a computer controller a first threshold rate of change in weight signals of a weight sensor; relaying a plurality of weight signals from the weight sensor to the controller; calculating a determination by the controller at least in part on whether the threshold rate of change has been exceeded; and automating actuation of a hydraulic assembly based on the determination.
