MOUNT HAVING STRUCTURE WHEREIN COUPLING MEANS IS COVERED, AND LOCKING DEVICE FOR MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION USING SAME
The present invention relates to a locking device, which is capable of directly locking the body of a means of transportation, such as a bicycle or a light electric vehicle (LEV), regardless of the shape or size thereof, and to a locking device for a means of transportation, which is provided with a mount simply and securely mounted on a tubular frame of the means of transportation, wherein a rack is provided with brackets coupled to the mount and provided at one end of articulated cables, which are fixed to a fixture, so that not only is the locking device securely locked simply by coupling the brackets provided on the rack to the mount mounted on a user's means of transportation, even if the user does not carry a separate lock, but a coupling means, which is capable of disassembling the mount, is covered by the coupling with the brackets when the locking device is locked, thereby significantly reducing the risk of theft during parking.
Theft Deterrent Anchor
A Theft Deterrent Anchor (1) is affixed immovably to a surface position proximate a concrete or asphalt (10) parking place and has a hardened chain (3) that is lockable through a motorcycle wheel to prevent the motorcycles theft by being carried or towed away. The hardened chain (3) is attached to the Theft Deterrent Anchor (1) by a padlock (2) and can only be removed from the locking position through the wheel. The Theft Deterrent Anchor is anchored in two places to the concrete or asphalt (10) below preventing anything or anyone to pick up or move it. Thus, security of the two-wheeled or three-wheeled vehicle (4) is provided by the device.
Bicycle storage unit
A bicycle stand including a frame, a flexible cable or chain for securing a bicycle to the frame, and a lockable container which is attached to the frame, the flexible cable or chain having at least one end secured within the container.
Personal transport vehicle
A personal transport vehicle capable of staying upright without the need for a stand by incorporating tires having an advantageous design combined with an overall lowered center of gravity. The personal transport vehicle further incorporating a hub and steering assembly configured within the front wheel of the vehicle, as well as a brake and propulsion means configured within the rear wheel of the vehicle. Finally, the personal transport vehicle is capable of being folded into a compact configuration, lending itself to ease of shipment, storage and transport.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for single-sided locks
The disclosed apparatus may include a pin that is pushed in between two spokes of a wheel to lock the vehicle and removed from between the spokes of the wheel to unlock the vehicle. In one embodiment, a single-sided lock may include a pin holster for securing the pin while the vehicle is unlocked. In some embodiments, a single-sided lock mechanism may be permanently affixed to and/or built in to a vehicle, increasing the ease of use of the single-sided lock by preventing users from misplacing the lock. In one embodiment, a single-sided lock may include a mechanism for preventing accidental re-locking of a lock that has just been unlocked, further improving the user experience. Various other methods, systems, and apparatuses are also disclosed.
LOCK MOUNTING ASSEMBLIES FOR TRANSPORTATION DEVICES
Lock mounting assemblies are disclosed for storing and mounting a locking apparatus to a transportation device. The mounting assemblies include one or more straps or connectors for securing the mounting assembly to the transportation device. The mounting assemblies having a structure to securely retain the locking apparatus on the transportation device and provide easy access to and release of the locking apparatus from the mounting assembly.
Holder for a two-wheeler lock
A holder, for a two-wheeler lock, includes a carrier that bounds a reception region for receiving the two-wheeler lock and a fixing element supported at the carrier and movable between an open position and a closed position for fixing the two-wheeler lock in the reception region. A support element is provided at the carrier that projects from the carrier along a transverse axis aligned transversely to the longitudinal axis of the carrier and is configured to engage into a cut-out of the two-wheeler lock. The support element is the only element of the holder that supports the two-wheeler lock received in the reception region against a movement along the longitudinal axis of the carrier in the open position of the fixing element, with the fixing element blocks the two-wheeler lock against a removal from the support element along the transverse axis in the closed position.
CABLE LOCK SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A smart cable lock is provided that is configured to mechanically secure items and provide an automatic determination that securing is achieved. The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.
