Electric bicycle
An electric bicycle includes a motor and a controller. A heart rate monitor is programmed to communicate a heart rate signal representing a heart rate of an occupant to the controller. The controller is programmed to receive a destination distance of the electric bicycle relative to a predetermined destination. The controller is programmed to provide instruction to adjust power to the motor based at least on the heart rate signal and the destination distance.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for rotating lock cables
The disclosed apparatus may include a rotating locking cable and anchor for a lock for wheeled objects, including wheeled vehicles. A rotating locking cable and anchor may securely fasten a lock and/or a component of a lock, such as a pin, to a wheeled vehicle without impeding a user's ability to lock and unlock the lock. In some embodiments, a rotating locking cable may rotate along multiple axes in order to facilitate easy mobility of a pin between a lock and a pin holster. Various other methods, systems, and apparatuses are also disclosed.
ARTICLE ATTACHMENT APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An apparatus for securing articles to structural members includes a main strap assembly having at least three distinct portions configured for forming a secure loop by attachment of at least one of the portions to another of the portions. The apparatus further includes a pair of parallel ancillary strap assemblies attached transversely to the main strap assembly. Each of the pair is attached to a respective one of ancillary releasable engagement mechanisms at an end thereof, for forming an engageable loop. The ancillary strap assemblies can be used to attach the main strap assembly parallel to an elongate structural member. The secure loop of the main strap assembly can be used for securing a heavy article to a bicycle frame, or the like.
LOCK MOUNTING ASSEMBLIES FOR TRANSPORTATION DEVICES
Lock mounting assemblies are disclosed for storing and mounting a locking apparatus to a transportation device. The mounting assemblies include one or more straps or connectors for securing the mounting assembly to the transportation device. The mounting assemblies having a structure to securely retain the locking apparatus on the transportation device and provide easy access to and release of the locking apparatus from the mounting assembly.
On-board vehicle lock
An on-board locking assembly for a vehicle such as a bicycle or scooter comprising a movable member, such as a rigid bar, movably mounted to the vehicle at a first end and releasable from the vehicle at the second end, wherein a vehicle mounted receptacle is configured to fasten and release the second end, and wherein the rigid bar is configured to be movable relative to the vehicle to capture an object to which the vehicle may be fastened, and optionally obstruct the rotation of a vehicle wheel, and wherein the unfastening of the locking assembly may be controlled by wireless signal. A novel on-board retractable cable lock is also presented.
Electric bicycle
A bicycle includes a frame including first and second segments pivotable relative to each other between a folded position and an unfolded position. A magnet is fixed relative to the first segment. An electromagnet is fixed relative to the second segment and disposed in a magnetic field of the magnet when the frame is in the folded position. A controller is configured to power the electromagnet to repel the magnet to unfold the frame.
Holder
A holder for fastening an accessory part to a two-wheeler comprises a base section for fastening the holder to the two-wheeler and a reception section for receiving a spigot-like holding section of the accessory part. In this respect, the reception section has a continuous passage which extends along a passage axis and which has an inlet section at a first end for introducing the holding section of the accessory part into the continuous passage as well as a constriction section at a second end opposite the first end whose cross-section is constricted with respect to the inlet section to limit the introduction of the holding section of the accessory part into the continuous passage.
Closed-loop handlebar locking device for a bicycle
A closed loop handlebar locking device is securely coupled to a bike allowing safe and accurate steering of the bike. Device is further suitable for locking the bike when not in use. Device is configurable to lock a bike to a fixed object, such as a signpost while still attached to the stem of the bike. The device is also configurable to lock the bike when a suitable object is not available. In such a situation the device may be removed from the stem, passed around the frame and through one or both wheels. The device is attached to the stem via a stem piece that remains attached to the stem when the device is detached. Brakes, lights, computer and other accessories and components are attached to the stem piece. The bike is unsuitable for operation if the handlebar locking device is defeated by a would-be thief.
