Bicycle brake lock device and bicycle brake assembly comprising same
10899405 · 2021-01-26 · ·

A bicycle brake lock device and a bicycle brake assembly comprising the same. The device comprises a separate lock means that can restrain a first and a second rotation link of a bicycle brake in a brake operating state to prevent the rotation thereof. Therefore, even without a separate lock device such as a lock, the lock means can simply operate in a lock mode to make the riding of a bicycle impossible, and thus can prevent the bicycle from being stolen. Also, a user can safely fix and restrain a bicycle through a lock means by carrying only a lock key without carrying a separate big and heavy lock device, and thus more conveniently use the bicycle. In particular, a bicycle can be prevented from being stolen even by use of a tool such as a cutter, and thus achieves an enhanced safety from the bicycle theft.

Adjustable System for Stabilizing a Bicycle
20200385076 · 2020-12-10 ·

A light weight, automatic release, variably adjustable bicycle stabilizer is disclosed. The invention is comprised of five main parts: a first part being an adjustable, pivoting, slightly flexible u-shaped fork that stabilizes the wheel; a second part being an anchor bracket; a third part being a down tube stabilizer; a fourth part being a compression band; and a fifth part being an onboard, LED, safety light. The invention is selectively affixed to the underside of a bicycle frame. The anchor is disposed on the down tube and the slightly flexible u-shaped fork wheel stabilizer swings out from said anchor and grabs the front wheel preventing the wheel from turning and tipping the bike over. The end of each fork is wider on the inside. This stops the bicycle from rolling backward when parked on an incline.

APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR SINGLE-SIDED LOCKS
20200331550 · 2020-10-22 ·

The disclosed apparatus may include a pin that is pushed in between two spokes of a wheel to lock the vehicle and removed from between the spokes of the wheel to unlock the vehicle. In one embodiment, a single-sided lock may include a pin holster for securing the pin while the vehicle is unlocked. In some embodiments, a single-sided lock mechanism may be permanently affixed to and/or built in to a vehicle, increasing the ease of use of the single-sided lock by preventing users from misplacing the lock. In one embodiment, a single-sided lock may include a mechanism for preventing accidental re-locking of a lock that has just been unlocked, further improving the user experience. Various other methods, systems, and apparatuses are also disclosed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAGNET-EQUIPPED LOCKS

The disclosed computer-implemented method may include a magnetic insertable lock component with a magnet-sensing lock housing. By using a magnet within a pin and a magnetic field sensor within the lock housing, the apparatus may accurately detect the state of the lock. In some embodiments, the apparatus may determine the pin is inserted fully into the lock, the pin is inserted partially into the lock, the pin is not inserted in the lock, and/or that a foreign object that is not the pin is inserted into the lock. By using a magnet within the pin to track the state of the lock, the apparatus may improve both the user experience and the security of the lock. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

MOTORCYCLE LOCKING SYSTEM
20200331551 · 2020-10-22 ·

A system for locking the wheel of a motorcycle and hence the motorcycle itself utilizes a locking housing with a back wall, dual sidewalls, and a bottom floor which partially circumscribe a slotted space for receiving the Wheel of a motorcycle. The bottom floor has lateral sections extending outside the sidewalls. A locking base is provided which has rail members extending along the side of the base, the rail members being configured to slidably receive the lateral sections of the bottom floor. Bolts secure the locking housing to the locking base when the system is assembled to receive the front wheel of a motorcycle. An elongated cycle lock is provided to extend through holes in the sidewalls and the motorcycle wheel positioned within the slotted space, to secure the wheel and thus the motorcycle within the locking housing.

Control System for Interconnecting Electric Bike and Electronic Lock
20200223503 · 2020-07-16 ·

A control system for interconnecting an electric bike and an electronic lock includes a bike control device, a motor, an electronic lock, and a wireless operation device. The bike control device has a motor control unit connected to the motor. The electronic lock includes a bike lock control device and an electric locking device. The bike lock control device can receive an operation signal from the wireless operation device to determine whether the wireless operation device is allowed to operate. After the operation is allowed, the electric locking device can be locked, and the bike control device is notified that the motor control unit commands the motor not to output auxiliary power; or the electric locking device can be unlocked, and the bike control device is notified that the motor control unit commands the motor to output auxiliary power. Through the control system, the motor cannot drive the electric bike if the electric locking device is broken.
