Seatpost assembly having a reversible saddle clamp
A seatpost assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a housing fixedly coupled to a seatpost, the housing including at least one adjustable clamp assembly retaining member. The assembly also includes a reversable saddle rail clamp assembly, the reversable saddle rail clamping assembly having a bottom saddle rail clamping member and a top saddle rail clamping member. The top saddle rail clamping member is configured to be coupled with the bottom saddle rail clamping member in a first orientation to provide a first offset position, and further configured to be coupled with the bottom saddle rail clamping member in a second orientation to provide a second offset position different from said first offset position.
BICYCLE SADDLE
A bicycle saddle includes: a base structure having a top portion; and a cushion coupled to the top portion of the base structure, the cushion including a first lateral side and a second lateral side separated by a longitudinal plane, wherein each of the first lateral side and the second lateral side includes: a first region having a first stiffness; a second region having a second stiffness that is less than the first stiffness; and a third region having a third stiffness that is less than the second stiffness, wherein a perimeter of the second region is at least 75% enclosed within the first region, and wherein a perimeter of the third region is at least 75% enclosed within the second region.
Bicycle seat cover
A bicycle seat cover for a bicycle seat with a rigid substrate and a cushion thereon, includes a stretchable polymeric layer forming a top surface, a seat horn cover, a seat conforming sidewall, and a partial seat bottom surface covering and integral honeycomb cells extending from an underside of the top surface, each cell closed at its top by the top surface and open at its bottom.
Seating Device and Manufacturing Method Thereof
A manufacturing method of a seating device includes manufacturing an outer skin; manufacturing a core member via a foaming process; wrapping the core member in the outer skin, coupling a mounting plate at a bottom surface of the core member; and selectively coupling a mounting structure to the mounting plate to form the seating device. The outer skin is constructed to have a top skin layer adhered on a top surface of the core member, a side skin layer adhered on a side surface of the core member, and a bottom skin layer adhered on a bottom surface of the core member. Particularly, the top skin layer of the outer skin is adhered on the top surface of the core member edge-to-edge to initially align and retain the outer skin on the core member.

Bicycle saddle with multi-density zones
A bicycle saddle comprising a base, a rear portion positioned on the base, and a front portion positioned on the base. The rear portion supports the sit bones of the rider and includes a first resilient material having a first hardness (e.g., 45-55 Shore C), and the front portion supports the genitalia of the rider and includes a second resilient material having a second hardness (e.g., 35-45 Shore C) less than the first hardness. The front portion includes side portions having a first thickness above a highest part of the side sections, and the side portions are separated by a central portion having a second thickness less than the first thickness. Preferably, a lower surface of the central portion is substantially unsupported to form a trampoline-like structure. The upper surface of the central portion can include memory foam and is substantially flush with upper surfaces of the side portions.
BICYCLE SADDLE WITH ZONAL COMPLIANCE
A saddle design system includes a memory configured to store saddle data, where the saddle data includes one or more rider-saddle pressure values. The system also includes a processor operatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to analyze the one or more rider-saddle pressure values. The processor is also configured to generate a lattice design for a saddle base based at least in part on the analysis of the one or more rider-saddle pressure values.
CONTROLLED DEFORMATION BICYCLE SADDLE
A bicycle saddle includes a shell fitted with fastening means for fastening the bicycle saddle to an associable bicycle, the shell extending, in a prevailing longitudinal direction (Y-Y), from a front end to a rear end, and a padding associated to an upper portion of the shell, opposite a frame of the associable bicycle. The shell has a rigid portion supporting the fastening means and a controlled deformation portion positioned between the rigid portion and the padding. The controlled deformation portion has at least one yielding insert adapted to deform elastically under compression during use.
METHOD OF MAKING A SADDLE AND RELATED SADDLE
A method of making a saddle having a shell and a padding involves arranging the shell in thermoplastic polymer inside a mould for injection moulding having a die and a punch, the shell having a support surface, which in use faces the padding, and a supporting surface coupled to an inner wall of the punch or of the die, the support surface forming a wall of the moulding cavity; closing the mould; and making the padding by injection moulding a thermoplastic polymer over the shell, between the support surface and the mould.
BICYCLE SADDLE
A bicycle saddle includes a body having a padding portion and an underside portion. The body includes a front portion and a rear portion. The front portion has a restriction plate connected to the underside portion of the body. A first recess is formed between the restriction plate and the front portion. Two protrusions extend from the underside portion of the rear portion. A second recess is formed in each of the protrusions. A rail unit is connected to the underside portion of the body and includes two rails. Two respective first ends of the two rails are connected to a front connection part. The front connection part of the rail unit is connected to the first recess by adherent. Each rail has a rear connection part formed to the second end thereof The two respective rear connection parts are respectively secured in the two second recesses by another adherent.
