FUEL TANK AND SEAT ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A fuel tank and a seat assembly including the fuel tank is provided. The seat assembly includes a fuel tank, a seat frame securable to the fuel tank, and optionally a rear panel that supports a rearward portion of the seat frame. The seat assembly may define a chamber between the fuel tank and the rear panel. The seat frame is removably secured to one or both of the rear panel and the fuel tank. The fuel tank and rear panel may define a v-shape capable of distributing the rider load.
REMOVABLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
According to one or more aspects of the present disclosure, a removable seat assembly is provided comprising a first mounting feature engageable with the tunnel of a snow vehicle, and optionally a second mounting feature engageable with the tunnel of the snow vehicle. The first mounting feature may automatically engage the tunnel upon engagement of the second mounting feature with the tunnel. The seat assembly may comprise a frame base, a riser defining a chamber therein positioned on the frame base, a seat back frame, and an arm rest secured to the frame base and the seat back frame.
Bicycle seat for improved comfort, performance, and safety
A seat for a pedal-powered vehicle is described. The seat includes a support frame, a seat element and a nose. The seat element and the nose are implemented as separated components and are supported by the support frame. The seat element is configured to support at least part of a rider's weight. The seat element carries a pressure-relieving region that is configured to be located at a location corresponding to an ischial tuberosity (IT) of the rider, thereby relieving pressure exerted on the rider's IT's.
Method for producing a bicycle seat, apparatus used in said process and bicycle seat produced thereby
A device for individualizing a bicycle seat comprises a plurality of individually moving parts collectively having the shape of at least the top surface of a generic bicycle seat, the individually moving parts being movable relative to one another in the x-, y- and z-directions to adjust the generic bicycle seat to an adjusted final position that suits the individual comfort tastes of the user of said individualized bicycle seat; and a plurality of sensors connected to the plurality of individually moving parts to detect all adjustments made to the generic bicycle seat to achieve the adjusted final position. Information from the sensors can be downloaded to a computer to form a 3D data file that can be 3D-printed to an individualized bicycle seat. The invention also relates to a method of using the device, the individualized bicycle seat produced, and to a bicycle containing the individualized bicycle seat.
Adjustable Seat Assembly for a Motorcycle, and Motorcycle
An adjustable seat assembly for a motorcycle has a seat pan and an adjustment mechanism. The seat pan includes a base portion and two pivoting portions that are pivotally connected to the base portion and are arranged laterally adjacent to one another on the base portion. The base portion has a fastening portion for fastening the seat assembly on the motorcycle. The adjustment mechanism is designed to pivot each of the two pivoting portions in relation to the base portion to adjust a lateral width of the seat assembly. A motorcycle with an adjustable seat assembly is also provided.
Adjustable Disarticulated Saddle Having Independent Suspension System And Methods of Use Thereof
The invention includes apparatus and methods of use for an adjustable disarticulated seat, which in a preferred embodiment may include one, or a plurality of independently or synchronously adjustable disarticulated inserts positioned within insert interface apertures on the distal extended portion of a saddle. An actuator element may be responsive to the one or more disarticulated inserts through one or more cords configured to be retracted or release in response to the action of the actuator causing the extension upward or release downward movement of the one or more inserts within the insert interface aperture.
Seating device
A seating device includes a seat body having a top seat supporting surface, a mounting base coupled at a bottom surface of the seat body, and two wing supports sidewardly extended from two sides of the seat body respectively, wherein each of the wing supports has a top buttock supporting surface upwardly and sidewardly extended from the top seat supporting surface of the seat body to a side tip of the wing support, and a bottom retention surface inclinedly and upwardly extended to the side tip of the wing support for reinforcing the wing support in a tilt up manner so as to prevent the wing support being sagged down when the wing support is pressured.
Ergonomically designed bicycle saddle
Embodiments of the invention provide a customizable bicycle saddle for a bicycle. The bicycle saddle has been designed to allow it to be adjusted to match the ischial tuberosities of each rider's pelvis in order to minimize the pressure placed on other portions of the rider's body while seated on the bicycle. The bicycle saddle comprises a first seating portion that has been configured to allow a rider to sit on the bicycle, a second seating portion that has been configured to allow the rider to sit on the bicycle. The bicycle saddle also includes a first adjustment means configured to allow the first seating portion to be moved closer to the second seating portion, and a second adjustment means configured to allow the saddle to be moved closer to a forward portion on the bicycle.
SEAT ADAPTER, SEAT ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEREOF
A seat adapter for a vehicle includes a base portion, a channel, and a dovetail portion. The channel extends across a width of the seat adapter and is configured to receive a seat frame. The dovetail portion extends rearward from a distal end of the seat frame. The dovetail portion is configured to increase a total seat length.
