Split saddle bicycle seat assembly
A split saddle bicycle seat assembly for reducing friction and fatigue in a rider's hip joint while riding a bicycle includes a post that is insertable into a bicycle seat sleeve on a bicycle. A pair of arms is each of the arms is slidably coupled to the plate and each of the arms extends laterally away from the post in opposite directions from each other. A pair of saddles is each pivotally coupled to a respective one of the arms. Thus, each of the saddles can support a respective one of the rider's hip joins when the rider mounts the bicycle. Each of the saddles is pivotal downwardly on the respective arm when the respective rider's hip joint rotates as a consequence of a downward stroke on pedals of the bicycle. In this way each of the saddles reduces friction and fatigue in the rider's hip joints when the bicycle is pedaled.
Bicycle Seats
A seat for a pedal-powered vehicle includes a support frame, a left seat element, a right seat element, and a nose. The left and right seat elements and the nose are implemented as separate components supported by the support frame. The two seat elements support a seated rider's weight while the nose does not. The seat elements and the nose form a gap below the seated rider's perineum area. The seat elements pivot forwards and backwards when the seated rider is pedaling. The seat elements counter-pivot when the seated rider is pedaling. Each seat element includes a concave surface that supports the seated rider.
BICYCLE SADDLE WITH THROUGH-HOLE HANDLE
A seat for a bicycle comprising: a seating surface having a longitudinal length, a longitudinally forward portion, a longitudinally rearward portion, and a lateral width between a first lateral end and a second lateral end laterally opposed to the first lateral end; an underside surface below the seating surface; an opening extending through the seating surface and the underside surface; where the opening has an opening length between a longitudinally forward periphery and a longitudinally rearward periphery and an opening width between a first lateral periphery and a second lateral periphery laterally opposed to the first lateral periphery; where the seating surface includes a bridge portion longitudinally located between the opening and the rearward portion of the seating surface; and where the opening has a lateral width greater than its longitudinal length.
SEAT WITH DOWNWARDLY-SLANTED BUMP-LESS NOSE
A seat structure includes a substrate structure and a pad structure affixed to a top surface of the substrate structure. The seat structure has a support region configured to provide a support for a user's buttocks, and a downwardly sloped nose portion. The seat structure is bump-less in that there is no raised portion at an area between the user's legs which would extend upwardly from adjacent laterally outward portions.
BICYCLE SADDLE
The present invention relates to a bicycle saddle, which comprises: at least one cushion part on which a bicycle rider's buttocks are stably placed; a support frame including at least one support panel and an air inducing part, the support panel being coupled to a lower part of the cushion part to support the cushion part, the air inflow part having a central part formed in a concave shape; and an elastic frame, which is coupled to a lower part of the support frame and has a lower surface convexly curved downward.
Bicycle saddle
A bicycle saddle for attaching to a bicycle seat post including a rearward seat portion extending forwardly to a soft compressible nose. The seat portion adapted to support a rider's ischial tuberosities in the cruising position. The nose adapted to support the rider's pudendal or pelvic anatomy. The seat portion having downwardly sloped lateral flanges disposed either side of the nose wherein the flanges continue to provide support to the ischial tuberosities. Any increase in perineal and pudendal pressure is substantially absorbed by the compressibility of the nose such that maintaining continuous contact with the seat portion and nose enables full saddle control as the rider shifts from the cruising to an aerodynamic or racing position.
Bicycle Saddle
A bicycle saddle includes a saddle shell, a saddle frame being arranged on the lower side thereof. A saddle cushion is arranged on an upper side of the saddle shell, the saddle cushion including at least two cushion elements. The main cushion element is connected with the upper side of the saddle shell. Auxiliary cushion elements are arranged in recesses of the main cushion element. Both the main cushion element and the at least one auxiliary cushion element include EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate).
Bicycle Saddle
A bicycle saddle includes a saddle shell connected to a saddle rail, a padding element arranged on an upper side of said saddle shell, and a deepened portion extending in said padding element in the longitudinal direction of the bicycle saddle. The depth of said deepened portion increases towards a rear side of the saddle.
Adjustable disarticulated saddle having independent suspension system and methods of use thereof
The invention includes apparatus and methods of use for an adjustable disarticulated seat, which in a preferred embodiment may include one, or a plurality of independently or synchronously adjustable disarticulated inserts positioned within insert interface apertures on the distal extended portion of a saddle. An actuator element may be responsive to the one or more disarticulated inserts through one or more cords configured to be retracted or release in response to the action of the actuator causing the extension upward or release downward movement of the one or more inserts within the insert interface aperture.
Bicycle saddle
The present invention relates to a bicycle saddle including: a saddle frame disposed on a bicycle frame; a saddle plate disposed on top of the saddle frame; and a saddle seat disposed on top of the saddle plate to elastically support the hips, wherein the saddle seat is divided into a first seat and a second seat having top portions rounded with a given radius of curvature and disposed spaced apart from each other to a band-like shape along both longitudinal edges of the saddle plate, and between the first seat and the second seat is disposed an arch-shaped ischium accommodation portion for accommodating the ischial tuberosities of the pelvis thereinto to prevent the arteries, veins, and nerves from a rider's anus to the genitals from being compressed against the saddle seat by his or her body weight. Accordingly, the anus and genitals as well as the arteries, veins, and nerves connected from the anus to the genitals can be basically prevented from being compressed against the saddle seat, thereby permitting the rider to be free of perineum pains, prostate diseases, and dysuria.
