Electric saddle type vehicle with storage areas
A motorcycle, or saddle type vehicle, is disclosed that may have at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one hub electric motor. A large dry storage compartment may be positioned between the rider and steering mount. A rechargeable battery and battery management system may be located below the storage compartment in a battery housing, where the battery housing may be a structural component of the chassis. A rear electronics housing may be attached to and located behind the battery housing, and may contain major electrical components such as electric motor controller and contactors. Two structural members, or frame side rails, may form sides of the storage compartment and extend between the electronics housing and steering mount. The electronics housing may also connect to the battery housing such that the battery housing reinforces and strengthens the chassis, or structural frame. A secondary storage compartment may be located under the seat. Additionally, the storage compartments may have electronic locking mechanisms that are activated via a wireless connection to a remote electronic device.
Seat cushion having an edge portion, to be used for a seat of saddle-riding vehicle, and manufacturing method thereof
A seat cushion includes an edge portion and a three-dimensional fiber structure including core-sheath fusible fibers and skeletal fibers thermally fused at intersections thereof. The sheaths of the core-sheath fusible fibers are made of a thermoplastic elastomer to fuse the intersections and form a bulging portion at each of the fused intersections. The skeletal fibers and the cores of the core-sheath fusible fibers are made of a non-elastomer resin. The skeletal fibers are crimp-processed bulky fibers, and a fineness of the skeletal fibers and a fineness of the core-sheath fusible fibers are in a range of 1 to 200 dtex. The seat cushion has a layered structure including a plurality of layers fused together, each of the layers has the three-dimensional fiber structure, and the seat cushion has a density distribution based on regional variations of the layered structure and a stiffness distribution that depends on the density distribution.
Seat Device for a Tilting Vehicle
A seat device for a tilting vehicle, in particular a tilting vehicle having a boxer engine, includes: at least one seat; at least one holder by which the seat can be positioned or is positioned on a vehicle component of the tilting vehicle or on a vehicle frame on a side facing the direction of travel and which can restrict movement of the seat parallel to the vertical axis and to the transverse axis; and at least one coupling device which can be attached or is attached on a side of the seat facing away from the direction of travel, by which coupling device the seat can be fixed or is fixed, directly or indirectly, to the vehicle frame so as to be movable to a limited extent. The coupling device includes: at least one first coupler fixed directly or indirectly to the seat; at least one second coupler fixed to the vehicle frame; and at least one first movement clearance device which is located between the first coupler and the second coupler and by which the seat can be moved to a limited extent relative to the vehicle frame, at least in or obliquely to the transverse axis of the tilting vehicle, by movement of the first coupler relative to the second coupler.

Butterfly folding seat mechanism for personal transport device
A seat for a personal transport device is provided. The seat includes a first seat body portion and a second body portion disposed on an opposite side of a midline from the first seat body portion. The midline is aligned along a longitudinal direction of the seat. The seat also includes a folding mechanism attached to the first seat body portion and the second seat body portion. The folding mechanism is configured to fold the seat along the midline to transition the seat between an unfolded configuration and a folded configuration. In one embodiment, the folding mechanism includes a spine extending underneath the seat in the longitudinal direction, a pair of plates disposed at opposite ends of the spine, a plurality of support members attached at one end to the spine and at an opposite end to the first seat body portion or the second seat body portion.

SEAT ADAPTER, SEAT ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THEREOF
A seat adapter for a vehicle includes a base portion, a channel, and a dovetail portion. The channel extends across a width of the seat adapter and is configured to receive a seat frame. The dovetail portion extends rearward from a distal end of the seat frame. The dovetail portion is configured to increase a total seat length.
Straddle ride electric vehicle
A straddle-type electric vehicle includes two approximately rectangular parallelepiped batteries, a battery case in which the batteries are housed, battery-side terminals provided on bottom surfaces of the batteries, and case-side terminals engaged with the battery-side terminals. The two batteries are arranged next to each other in a vehicle width direction. An operation lever for connecting or separating the battery-side terminals and the case-side terminals to/from each other is provided. The operation lever is arranged in a middle in the vehicle width direction between the two batteries, and the battery-side terminals and the case-side terminals are arranged nearer outer sides in the vehicle width direction. A pair of front and rear link mechanisms for coupling the operation lever and the case-side terminals to each other is provided in front of and behind the battery case.
ADJUSTABLE SEAT ACCESSORY
A bicycle seat accessory that includes an adjustable seat and a rear seat accessory to provide a seating surface for a user and a rider or passenger. The adjustable seat is movable between a first and second position and when in the second position, the seating surface of the seat substantially aligns with the seating surface of the rear seat accessory to form a substantially continuous seating surface. The frame of the bicycle includes an accessory shelf onto which the rear seat accessory can be mounted. Additionally, the frame includes one or more brackets to which footpeg accessories can be mounted to provide foot rests for the passenger of the bicycle while seated on the rear seat accessory.
