A saddle-ride vehicle includes: left and right seat rails; left and right sub-frames; and a rear fender assembled from a lower side. The rear fender has a base portion and left and right vertical wall portions. The base portion forms a housing space for vehicle body components. Separation distance of the left and right vertical wall portions is smaller than separation distance of the left and right sub-frames. At upper parts of the left and right vertical wall portions each are provided with an eaves portion extending outward in a vehicle width direction to fill a gap between the vertical wall portion and the frames. The eaves portions overlap with the seat rails in an up-down direction, and the eaves portions each have a guide portion.

Electric saddle type vehicle

A motorcycle, or saddle type vehicle, is disclosed that may have at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one hub electric motor. A large dry storage compartment may be positioned between the rider and steering mount. A rechargeable battery and battery management system may be located below the storage compartment in a battery housing, where the battery housing may be a structural component of the chassis. A rear electronics housing may be attached to and located behind the battery housing, and may contain major electrical components such as electric motor controller and contactors. Two structural members, or frame side rails, may form sides of the storage compartment and extend between the electronics housing and steering mount. The electronics housing may also connect to the battery housing such that the battery housing reinforces and strengthens the chassis, or structural frame. A secondary storage compartment may be located under the seat. Additionally, the storage compartments may have electronic locking mechanisms that are activated via a wireless connection to a remote electronic device. The rear suspension may include a swingarm on one side of the vehicle.

Straddled vehicle

A straddled vehicle, including left and right seat frames respectively located leftward and rightward of a vehicle center plane with respect to a rear-to-front direction, a cross member configured to connect the left and right seat frames, a seat located above the left and right seat frames and the cross member, a rear fender, and a position regulator joining the seat with the rear fender to regulate upward movement of the seat. The seat includes a first load transmitting portion and a first horizontal position determining portion. The cross member includes a load receiver configured to receive a load of the seat, and a second horizontal position determining portion configured to restrict movement of the seat in a substantially horizontal direction. The position regulator includes an elastic member supported by the seat, a coupling portion supported by the elastic member, and a fastening portion configured to fasten the coupling portion to the rear fender.

ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE

A vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a saddle-type seat mounted to the frame and having a forward portion and a rearward portion, a cargo area defining a storage compartment positioned at least partially rearward of the saddle-type seat, and a rider support assembly positioned rearward of the forward portion of the saddle-type seat and vertically above at least a portion of the saddle-type seat and the storage compartment.

Active vehicle footrest

A vehicle and passenger carrying apparatus usable with a vehicle, wherein the passenger carrying portion includes a seating surface and a moveable footrest below the seating surface. The footrest is moveable from an ingress/egress position to a transport position that is closer to the seating surface than the ingress/egress position. The passenger carrying portion further includes a footrest movement mechanism, wherein the footrest movement mechanism controls movement of the moveable footrest between the ingress/egress position the transport position.

Cushioning-material structure for vehicle seat

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cushioning material structure, for a vehicle seat, that makes it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance. A cushioning material supported by the top surface of a bottom plate provided on a vehicle body is provided with voids. This allows weight reduction without reducing the thickness of the cushioning material as in conventional cushioning-material structures, thereby making it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance.
