A TOY EXHAUST DEVICE FOR ATTACHMENT TO A REAR STAY OF THE FRAME OF A BICYCLE
A toy exhaust device (10) for attachment to a rear stay (11) of the frame of a bicycle, the device (10) comprises an elongate body unit (13) having formations (14, 15) thereon shaped so that the body unit (13) is locatable against the surface (16) of the rear stay 11, which surface (16) faces out from the frame, an exhaust pipe (17) extending from the body unit (13) to the rear of the frame and away therefrom, when the body unit (13) is attached thereto. The device (10) is symmetrically disposed about a plane of division (18) of the device (10), in which plane of division the longitudinal axis of the body unit (13) lies, and such that, in use, when an exhaust device (10) is attached to each side of the frame one device (10) will be a mirror image of the other device (10).
Motorized running cycle
A running bike includes a front fork, a rear fork, a handlebar, and a frame extending between and connecting the front fork and the rear fork. The frame has a top tube and a seat tube coupled to the top tube. A seat is adjustably coupled to the seat tube. A footrest is connected to and supported by the frame, a drivetrain receiving region is defined as an area below the top tube and above the footplate, a drivetrain assembly is positioned within the drivetrain receiving region, and a battery mount selectively receives a battery. The battery mount faces the front wheel at a position between the top tube and the footrest. A side panel is coupled to the frame to enclose the drivetrain assembly within the drivetrain receiving region, and has in side view, a plurality of edges positioned between the top tube and the footrest.

Bicycle System
The field of the invention relates to bicycle systems, especially to bicycle systems adapted for use with smartphones, to smartphones configured for use with bicycle systems, and to methods and to computer software for use with such bicycle systems or smartphones, and to servers configured to communicate with such bicycle systems or smartphones. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a bicycle system including a bicycle, the bicycle system including a processor integral to the bicycle, the bicycle system further including a battery integral to the bicycle, wherein the processor is powerable by the battery, the bicycle system including a smartphone holder configurable to receive a smartphone and to connect the smartphone to the processor, wherein in use the smartphone holder is attachable to, and detachable from, the smartphone. Advantages include that the smartphone can be charged by the battery, the smartphone can communicate with the processor so as to receive various information such as maintenance-related information of the bicycle system, the bicycle system can investigate the smartphone identity to check for unauthorized use of the bicycle system, the smartphone is held during bicycle system travel which reduces the risk of damage to the smartphone, and the bicycle system shape is more aerodynamic than that of a bicycle to which a processor and/or a battery has merely been bolted-on.
BICYCLE CONTROLLER AND BICYCLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A bicycle controller and a bicycle control system are provided that effectively supply power from one battery to a plurality of bicycle components. The bicycle controller includes an electronic control unit that controls power consumed by a plurality of bicycle components. The power is supplied from a common battery. The bicycle components include at least a first component and a second component. In a case where a charge amount of the battery is a first level, the electronic control unit reduces the power of the battery consumed by the first component. In a case where the charge amount of the battery is a second level that is lower than the first level, the electronic control unit reduces the power of the battery consumed by the second component.
Illuminated bicycle
An internally illuminated frame for a bicycle or alternatively, a complete bicycle is disclosed. The bicycle comprises at least one frame tube made from a translucent material and containing individually illuminable lighting elements. The complete bicycle includes a controller operable to control individual ones of the lighting elements, a battery, brake lights, a head piece including a display screen, a user interface, an audio speaker, and optionally, forward facing lighting elements. The controller is programmable to control the lighting elements and the audio speaker from stored programming. Programming may be provided wirelessly or by hard wired connection.
Sound and performance emulator for electric vehicles
This invention concerns a sound and performance emulator (1) for an electric propulsion vehicle (100) with a first sensor (2) to emit a clutch signal (2a) relative to the position of a clutch (101) of the electric propulsion vehicle (100); a second sensor (3) to emit a gear signal (3a) relative to the position of a gear-switch (102) of the electric propulsion vehicle (100); a control unit (4) which receives an acceleration signal (5) relating to an accelerator position (103) of the electric propulsion vehicle (100); a vehicle speed signal (6) and/or an engine revolutions signal (7) relating to the engine revolutions (RpmExt) of the electric motor (104); the clutch signal (2a); and the gear signal (3a). The control unit (4) calculates a simulated engine revolutions value (RpmFinal) and a simulated gear inserted value (GearInserted) of a simulated endothermic combustion vehicle. The control unit (4) provides a requested simulated torque value and/or an output throttle signal (OutputThrottle) to be sent to the electric propulsion vehicle (100) to control it.
