The angled joining member is coupled to a support member, and the support member is coupled to an angled member. The angled member is coupled to a connector member, and the connector member is detachably coupled to a contact member, wherein the contact member is laterally pivotable relative to the connector member. A contact panel is coupled to the contact member to provide direct support to a cyclist.

The coupling member extends from the base member and couples the platform member to a seat post of the bicycle. The brace member includes at least one spring and a bumper member. The at least one spring may extend perpendicularly from the handlebars. The bumper member may be coupled to a distal end of the at least one spring. The brace member may assist in the positioning of the animal during transport, including for example, over uneven terrain.

The present disclosure is directed to a rider securing device that includes a rider restraint, wherein the rider restraint is mountable to a portion of a bicycle, and wherein the rider restraint comprises pressing arm configured to contact and move a plunger, when the plunger is in a first position, a ball catch is securable within a catch opening, when the plunger is in a second position, the ball catch is removable from the catch opening; a cable adjuster configured to attach to the ball catch, wherein the cable adjuster comprises an adjustable amount of an adjuster cable; and a handle, the handle comprising a first arm and a second arm, wherein the second arm comprises a cable anchor configured to attach to the second end of the cable.

A chest support device is presented. The chest support device has a flexible shaft. The flexible shaft has a shock absorbing structure that has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is coupled to a chest cushion and the distal end of the shock absorbing structure is coupled to a bicycle frame and the coupling between the shock absorbing structure and the bicycle frame allows for the shock absorbing structure to be removable.
