Motorcycle alert systems include a motorcycle, an article of clothing, such as a motorcycle jacket, a helmet, gloves, pants, or other like article of clothing, and a wired or wireless tether connecting the motorcycle to the article of clothing, such that when the motorcycle is in an accident, a signal is sent to the article of clothing, having visual and/or audible signals thereon, causing the article of clothing to visually or audibly alert another as to the location and presence of the motorcyclist wearing the article of clothing. Methods of using the same are further provided

RECREATIONAL SYSTEM FOR USE WITH A VEHICLE
20190061860 · 2019-02-28 ·

A recreational system for training and exercising an animal such as a dog includes a mounting assembly and extension assembly which provides a predetermined separation for the recreational system from a user to enable safe operation of a vehicle such as a bicycle. The mounting assembly may position the extension assembly rearwardly from a user so that a user may operate the bicycle while reducing the fear of accidentally contacting the recreational assembly during operation of the vehicle. The extension assembly may rotate within the mounting assembly when attached thereto, and may rotate freely while being secured to the mounting assembly. The extension assembly may optionally be coupled to the mounting assembly on either side of the mounting assembly, providing increased flexibility for operation and use of the recreational system.

Mounting plate for bicycle attachments
10207760 · 2019-02-19 ·

An elongated, plate-like structure on which bicycle accessories can be mounted, that is held in place at one end of a bicycle's rear wheel axle or, alternately, ids axial skewer. The latter, like the rear wheel axle, includes bolt threads for threadedly engaging a nut at said end. Supported on either the bike's right or left side, the structure, which extends both perpendicularly to and rearwardly from the rear wheel's rotational axis, defines multiple through openings. Among them is a round aperture sized to slideably receive the rear wheel axle or, alternately, just a part of the skewer-engageable nut at the same time the nut's annular shoulder abuts the structure's outer face. Distal from the round aperture, the structure's generally flat inner face defines a small protuberance which, in use, restrains, from sideways slippage, a bicycle tow leash clamped onto an opening-free portion of the structure's midsection.

Universal piping clamp

A clamp assembly mountable on a short span of structural tubing which can have any one of a broad spectrum of transverse cross-sectional shapes, sizes and vertical orientations, as found in bicycle frames and the like. Augmenting the assembly's inner and outer clamp members, so that one can use them to maintain a tight grip on the short span, is an assortment of inserts. Each insert, when deployed between the outer member's elongated flat face and the inner clamp member's midsection where it bounds a long, relatively narrow concavity, is designed to keep the clamp members from slipping sideways with respect to the compression force applied through them to the short span. Included is a two-headed insert, deployed one head at a time, as dictated by how much the short span fills said concavity and whether it extends, beyond it, perpendicularly to the elongated flat face.

Bike-attached dog tether
09961881 · 2018-05-08 ·

A tether apparatus for connecting a dog to a bike for running with the bike. The tether comprises a continuously flexible wand with a bow-like curvature in a vertical plane and an S-curvature in a horizontal plane. The wand is attached to a bike frame at front and mid-points, and a tail end is spaced to the rear and side of the bike. The tail end includes a short vertical harness connector hanging freely from the tail end for vertical attachment to a dog's collar or harness from above. A dog is accordingly tethered under the tail end of the wand, spaced to the rear and side of the bike, with the flexible wand absorbing shock and load when the dog's position and speed differ relative to the bike.
