STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A position of a center of gravity of a vehicle body is easily optimized. An ABS modulator is disposed in a vicinity of a pivot bracket, which is joined to a lower rear portion of a main frame, and to which a swing arm is swingably connected.
AIR INTAKE STRUCTURE FOR SADDLED VEHICLE
An air intake structure for a saddled vehicle including a downsized air cleaner box and a sufficient intake path is provided.
An air intake structure for a saddled vehicle applied to a saddled vehicle including an engine suspended from a vehicle body frame and an air cleaner box disposed behind the engine includes: a side cover mounted on a sidewall on an outer side in the vehicle width direction of the air cleaner box; and a side cover opening formed at the side cover toward the vehicle rear side. Outside air to be taken into the air cleaner box is taken from the side cover opening. The sidewall is provided with an intake opening, and the intake opening is covered with the side cover. The side cover includes a body that covers the sidewall, and a canopy member provided at the surface of the body. The side cover opening is formed of the outer edge of the canopy member.
Air-cleaner structure of saddle-ride type vehicle
An air-cleaner structure of a saddle-ride vehicle is provided with an air-cleaner case arranged between a seat and a head pipe located in front of the seat. The air-cleaner case is provided with a bottom half and a top half. The bottom half is arranged in a space surrounded by a rear face of the head pipe and a pair of left and right main frames extending from the head pipe toward the rear of the vehicle. The top half is situated above the main frames. The top half is provided in a vertical two division structure. A dividing surface of the vertical two division structure of the top half is inclined in the vehicle-longitudinal direction. An air-cleaner element is mounted along the inclined dividing surface.
Saddle-ridden vehicle
A saddle-ridden vehicle includes: a pair of frame members which are disposed on one side and on other side in a vehicle width direction so as to extend in a vehicle front-rear direction; an engine which is disposed between and supported by the pair of frame members; an air cleaner which cleans air for fuel combustion; a supercharger which compresses the air cleaned by the air cleaner; an intercooler which cools, using a cooling wind, the air compressed by the supercharger and supplies resulting air to the engine; and an exhaust wind duct which determines a discharge position or a discharge direction of the cooling wind discharged from the intercooler, and the exhaust wind duct is disposed above the engine on the one side in the vehicle width direction and extends to rear of the engine.
MOTORCYCLE WITH AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, WITH AN AIR DUCT DEVICE FOR THE INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, WITH A SIDE PANEL AND WITH A REAR FRAME
A motorcycle (1) is proposed in which a grip opening (29) forms a part of the flow path of the intake air of the engine (2). This grip opening (29) is formed by gaps (5) in the side spoilers (3, 19) and a recess (8) in the rear frame (6). Arranged at the recess (8) are the air inlet openings (11, 12, 13, 31, 32) of the air guidance device (9) in which the air filter element (7) for cleaning the intake air of the engine (2) is located.

Air cleaner structure in saddle-ride type vehicle
In a saddle-ride type vehicle in which a cleaner case of an air cleaner is configured with first and second case half bodies coupled to each other and arranged in a vehicle width direction, and is arranged in a space surrounded by a vehicle body frame, a first case half body is provided with: a cleaner element insertion/removal port opened outward so as to permit insertion and removal of a cleaner element therethrough; a purified air outlet connected with a connecting tube for guiding purified air to an engine body side; and an outside air suction port for introducing air from an outside into the cleaner case.
COWLING STRUCTURE
A cowling structure for a straddle-type vehicle. The cowling structure includes a front cowling covering a vehicle front portion from a front side, and a pair of side cowlings covering the vehicle front portion from lateral sides. The pair of side cowlings each include an outer cowling forming an outer surface of the side cowling, and an inner cowling forming an inner surface of the side cowling. The inner cowling is formed with a ventilation hole through which traveling wind passing below the front cowling blows toward a rear side.

Cowl stay structure for vehicle, and vehicle including same
In a cowl stay structure for a vehicle which is mounted on a front end part of a body frame having a pair of main frames extending longitudinally to the left and right, and which supports a cowling, a cowl stay supporting the cowling has a front opening which serves as a duct with a hollow structure designed to guide the air taken in from a front side of a vehicle body to an air cleaner box. The cowl stay is mounted on a front surface of a head pipe arranged on the front end of the body frame for establishing a flow path of the front opening with said head pipe opening. A headlight configured to irradiate an area in front of a vehicle with light is placed inside the cowl stay. Such a cowl stay structure has reduced size and weight, and it supports multiple parts.
