A front-open frame provides cargo space between the front wheels, and allows for a variety of ways to load, transport, and unload the cargo. A dual-crossed-drag-link steering arrangement is provided, where a drag-link driver linked to the handlebar pushes and pulls shaped link rods, which transfer the forces through pivot links on turning bars on the two front-wheel units, which thereby turn in the intended direction.

A vehicle including a front module including a front wheel and a rear module selectively moveably connected to the front module, the rear module including a rear wheel. The vehicle further includes an electric motor assembly, a mode selector, at least one extension assembly connected between the front module and the rear module for selectively extending and retracting to provide a selective variation in an overall length of the vehicle; and a vehicle control unit being communicatively connected between the mode selector and the electric motor assembly. The vehicle control unit performs a method for selectively changing the overall vehicle length. The method includes receiving from the mode selector an indication to change the overall length, determining that the front wheel is rotationally locked, and causing an electric motor to drive the rear wheel such that the rear module translates relative to the front module.

A foldable human-powered vehicle upon which users can ride is described. The vehicle includes a wheel assembly, a deck assembly, a seating assembly, a handle assembly, a deck support frame, and a brake assembly. The vehicle also includes a first and a second bicycle having a first handle disposed opposite a second handle. A first handle of the second bicycle is affixed to a second handle of a portion of the handle assembly to affix the second bicycle to the vehicle. A second handle of the first bicycle is affixed to a first handle of a portion of the handle assembly to affix the first bicycle to the vehicle. The vehicle also includes a rear component affixed to a portion of the deck assembly, where a head tube of a third bicycle is affixed to the rear component to affix the third bicycle to the vehicle.

A gerbilling-proof monowheel vehicle comprises: (a) a wheel felloe with a tire thereon; (b) a frame rotatably mounted within the wheel felloe; the frame carrying a passenger seat; (c) moving means configured for propelling the gerbilling-proof monowheel vehicle; and (d) braking means configured for decelerating the gerbilling-proof monowheel vehicle. The gerbilling-proof monowheel further comprises at least two auxiliary wheels side-mounted on the frame for vertically stabilizing the passenger seat and preventing the gerbilling-proof monowheel from side tipover and maintaining said passenger seat in a horizontal position within said wheel felloe.

A gerbilling-proof monowheel vehicle comprises: (a) a wheel felloe with a tire thereon; (b) a frame rotatably mounted within the wheel felloe; the frame carrying a passenger seat; (c) moving means configured for propelling the gerbilling-proof monowheel vehicle; and (d) braking means configured for decelerating the gerbilling-proof monowheel vehicle. A method for controlling an electric motor of an electric bicycle for driving the electric bicycle. The method includes: detecting a longitudinal acceleration of the electric bicycle in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the electric bicycle; and generating a motor torque with the aid of the electric motor as a function of the detected longitudinal acceleration, the motor torque being adapted until a predefined setpoint acceleration is reached or exceeded or undershot.
