The method also includes generating a bend curve having a plurality of bend points based on the determined plurality of positions of the surgical implants. The method also includes generating bending instructions for bends to be performed on a linking device configured for attachment to the surgical implants.

A method and system for artificial intelligence-based radiofrequency ablation parameter optimization and information synthesis are provided. The method is applied to a radiofrequency ablation controller including a processor and an artificial intelligence module. The processor of the radiofrequency ablation controller preprocesses sample data and sends the preprocessed sample data to the artificial intelligence module. The artificial intelligence module establishes an artificial neural network model according to the preprocessed sample data and a radiofrequency ablation control parameter for the sample data. The processor preprocesses signals collected by sensors on a plasma wand. The artificial intelligence module imports preprocessed sensor data into the artificial neural network model for analysis and fusion, to obtain the radiofrequency ablation control parameter.

Systems and methods are disclosed for dynamically controlling laser pulses being output from a laser system. An example surgical system comprises a laser, an optical switching device, an adjustable input device such as a foot pedal, and a laser pulse controller. An operator actuates the adjustable input device over an operating range to control dynamically the laser pulses being output from the laser system. In one mode, the adjustable input device may dynamically control output laser energy. In another mode, the adjustable input device may dynamically control selection of laser pulses to be output from the system.

An electrosurgical apparatus is provided including a housing, a flexible shaft, and a distal tip. The housing may further be coupled to an electrosurgical generator and gas supply. The distal tip of the electrosurgical apparatus may be grasped by a grasping tool, such that the orientation and position of the distal tip relative to the housing may be manipulated to achieve a plurality of positions. The electrosurgical apparatus provides electrosurgical energy and inert gas to an electrode within the distal tip of the electrosurgical apparatus to generate a plasma beam. In one aspect, the electrode is a retractable blade such that the electrosurgical apparatus can be used for mechanical and electrosurgical cutting during surgery when the electrode is in an extended position and for cold plasma applications during surgery when the electrode is in a retracted position.
