SELF-STERILIZING TOUCHPOINTS FOR LIGHT ELECTRIC VEHICLES
This application describes a self-sterilizing handlebar and/or handlebar grip for a light electric vehicle. The handlebar described herein uses a light source, such as an ultra-violet light source, to transmit ultra-violet light within and/or through a handlebar and/or a handlebar grip. The ultra-violet light source transmits short-wavelength light to sterilize the handlebar grip.
ANTI-RATTLE FOLDING SCOOTER
A variety of scooters are disclosed. In some embodiments, a scooter can include a pivot assembly that allows the scooter to move between a folded and unfolded configuration. The pivot assembly can include a knob that frees a pin from a bracket to allow the scooter to fold. Turing the knob increases compressive forces on elements of the pivot assembly to reduce rattling noise and wobbling movement when the scooter is in use. Some embodiments of the scooter can include a center stand that can be deployed from either side of the scooter deck to stabilize the scooter when the scooter is stationary. Certain embodiments have an ergonomic handgrip.

COVERING TAPE FOR BICYCLE HANDLEBARS AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A covering tape for bicycle handlebars includes an elongated foldable body extending along a main longitudinal direction (X-X) between opposite axial ends. At one of the axial ends, the body is mechanically integral with a cylindrical closing cap of a hollow end of the bicycle handlebars.

Drive assistance device for saddle type vehicle
A drive assistance device (24) for a saddle type vehicle (1) includes a ride sensor (37) configured to detect a ride attitude of a rider (J), a vehicle body behavior generating part (25) configured to generate a behavior on a vehicle body by a prescribed output, and a controller (27) configured to control driving of the vehicle body behavior generating part (25), the vehicle body behavior generating part (25) includes a brake device (BR) configured to brake a host vehicle, and wherein, when the brake device (BR) is actuated regardless of an operation of the rider (J), the controller (27) actuates the brake device (BR) according to the ride attitude of the rider (J) detected by the ride sensor (37).
Straddled vehicle having handlebar
A straddled vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, a steering shaft supported by the vehicle body frame, a handlebar that includes a left grip and a right grip and is connected to the steering shaft, a steering wheel, and a steering assist device that applies assist force in a same direction as that of a steering torque that has been input to the handlebar by a rider to the steering shaft. The steering assist device causes the assist force to decrease as speed of the vehicle increases in a first vehicle speed zone and causes the assist force to increase as the speed of the vehicle increases in a second vehicle speed zone that is higher than the first vehicle speed zone.
Interlocking Wrap
An interlocking wrap and method for covering an outer surface of an object provides desirable qualities to complex tube shapes using a flat piece of material. The wrap may cover tubes, handles, rods, or hoops, in their many examples. Existing adhesive technologies applied to the back of the material, combined with the formation of the material into a series of three or more offset tabs that interlock when folded together in the prescribed alternating order at their meeting points, creates a cover that is pleasing to the eye, protective, and durable to frictional use. The tabs overlap one over the next in similar fashion to a zipper or a braid, only leaving the bottom tab exposed to use.
Bicycle handlebar grip assembly and bicycle handlebar
The bicycle handlebar grip assembly is disclosed. The assembly comprises an inner core having a first contact surface and an outer sleeve having an inner surface and a third contact surface on the inner surface. The outer sleeve is configured to enclose at least a major part of the inner core, when the grip assembly is installed to a handle-bar. The inner core and the outer sleeve are separate parts, which are configured to be bonded together by friction force acting between the first contact surface of the inner core and the third contact surface of the outer sleeve, when the grip assembly is installed to a handlebar.
