A method for providing guided navigation for personal transport devices is described. In one embodiment, the method includes providing a list of predetermined destinations associated with a geographic area, projecting directions to one or more of the destinations on a ground surface located in front of a personal transport device, and providing an option to a user of the personal transport device to select between at least two different destinations. A direction associated with each destination of the at least two destinations may be projected on the ground surface located in front of the personal transport device. The method also includes receiving an input from the user indicating a selection of one of the at least two different destinations and projecting directions to the selected destination on the ground surface located in front of the personal transport device to guide the user to the selected destination.

An operating device for an electric bicycle may include a control/regulation device and a lighting unit. The lighting unit may include at least one electrical lighting element for emitting light. The at least one lighting element may be electrically connected to the control/regulation device such that the at least one lighting element is activatable via the control/regulation device. Via the control/regulation device, a light code with at least one of active and inactive light elements of the lighting unit is providable to visualize at least one momentary state of the electric bicycle.

OPERATING DEVICE AND ELECTRIC BICYCLE

An operating device for an electric bicycle may include a control/regulation device and a lighting unit. The lighting unit may include at least one electrical lighting element for emitting light. The at least one lighting element may be electrically connected to the control/regulation device such that the at least one lighting element is activatable via the control/regulation device. Via the control/regulation device, a light code with at least one of active and inactive light elements of the lighting unit is providable to visualize at least one momentary state of the electric bicycle.

A method for operating an electric vehicle has the steps of: determining if at least one of a speed of the vehicle and a speed of an electric motor of the vehicle is zero; in response to the at least one of the speed being zero, determining if a reverse actuator is actuated; in response to the reverse actuator being actuated, starting a timer, then determining if the reverse actuator has been actuated without interruption for a predetermined amount of time; in response to the reverse actuator having been actuated without interruption for the predetermined amount of time, changing an operation mode of the electric motor from one of a forward mode and a reverse mode to another of the forward mode and the reverse mode. An electric snowmobile and other methods for operating an electric vehicle are disclosed.

The switch housing has a switch mounted thereto. The switch is configured for communicating with a component of the vehicle. The recess is configured for receiving the cap and for receiving the switch housing. A vehicle having a handlebar with the switch assembly mounted thereto is also disclosed.

After the vehicle is powered on, the controller is further configured to, when the controller has continuously received the operation signal for a predetermined reception time, determine that the control switch is abnormal, stop transmitting the control signal and control a warning unit to output a warning signal.
