VEHICLE AND VEHICLE COMPONENTS
A vehicle includes a main vehicle body, a suspended assembly that supports the main body of the vehicle, a suspension arrangement for connecting the suspended assembly to the main body of the vehicle, and a steering system for steering the suspended assembly. The suspended assembly assisting in providing directional control of the vehicle and stability in a lateral direction relative to a normal straight-ahead direction of travel for the vehicle. The steering system including a first steering arrangement that controls movement of the suspended assembly relative to the main vehicle body such that the suspended assembly pivots about a first steering axis. The steering system further including a second steering arrangement that controls movement of the suspended assembly relative to the main vehicle body such that the suspended assembly pivots about a second steering axis with the second steering axis being different than the first steering axis.
Motorcycle suspension
A motorcycle suspension comprising a fork having a steering bar suitable for connecting mechanically to a steering mechanism of a motorcycle, an oscillating bar having a first end at which it forms a junction with said steering bar, and a second end at which it connects to a support which houses a rotation pin of an associable wheel so as to turn, said rotation pin defining a rotation axis for the wheel itself. The suspension comprises a shock absorber unit which extends from an attachment head, at which it is mechanically connected to the steering bar, to an attachment foot, at which it is connected to the support. Advantageously, the shock absorber unit, at the attachment foot, connects to the support by the interposition of mechanical coupling means having a hinge axis which is contained in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis of the wheel.
Vehicle and vehicle components
A vehicle includes a suspended assembly that supports a main body and a suspension system for connecting the suspended assembly to the main vehicle body. The suspended assembly assists in providing directional control of the vehicle and stability in a lateral direction relative to a normal straight-ahead direction of travel of the vehicle. The suspension system including first and second suspension arrangements that control movement of the suspended assembly relative to the main vehicle body through a range of motion along first and second paths that are primarily perpendicular to the lateral direction. The second path differs from the first path such that the combination of the range of motion of the first suspension arrangement along the first path and the second path result in an overall range of motion for the suspended assembly relative to the main body that is defined by a surface area.
STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle includes a battery, a front wheel mounted on an axle, a motor including a stator and a rotor rotatable around the axle together with the front wheel, the motor being supplied with electric power from the battery to generate motive power, and a front suspension supporting, in a cantilever manner, the axle being inserted through the front wheel and the motor.
STRADDLED VEHICLE
A straddled vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a battery attached to the vehicle frame, a steering device pivotable around a steering axial line with respect to the vehicle frame, a front suspension coupled with the steering device, a front wheel attached to the front suspension so as to be rotatable around an axle, a front motor supplied with electric power from the battery to generate motive power, an electric power cable electrically connecting the battery and the front motor with each other, and a restrictor that restricts movement of the electric power cable to a stroke direction of the front suspension.
FRONT SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THREE WHEELED VEHICLE
The present technology discloses a front suspension system for a three-wheeled vehicle, comprising a frame, a front wheel with a hub, a steering knuckle on the wheel hub, a lower control arm connecting the frame to the wheel hub, a steering arm attached to the steering knuckle, and a steering linkage linked to the steering arm. This front suspension system allows the three-wheeled vehicle to smoothly transition between an upright posture and a turning posture, where the front wheel leans in the direction of a turn while the frame maintains its upright position. The innovative design enhances stability and maneuverability during turns, providing a safer and more comfortable riding experience for users.
Foldable and portable electric vehicle
A foldable and portable electric vehicle for the transport of a single person comprises a foldable chassis with a support plate, a folding system for folding the chassis, a front driving wheel, a rear wheel, a foldable handlebar, an integrated system of command, control, monitoring and signaling, a mechanical brake on the rear wheel, a suspension on the rear wheel and a suspension on the front wheel, and a steering column.
ABS UNIT ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE AND MOTORCYCLE
The invention is directed to an ABS unit attachment structure including: a floating bracket which is fixed to a vehicle body frame via a vibration absorbing member; an ABS unit attached to a first attachment surface of the floating bracket; and a weight attached to a second attachment surface of the floating bracket, and a motorcycle including the ABS unit attachment structure.
