The present invention provides a transformable bicycle. The transformable bicycle including: a pair of front fork members which are connected to a front wheel, and which are arranged with the front wheel interposed therebetween; a head tube which is connected a fork support bar; a frame which is coupled to the head tube, and which is connected such that the head tube is rotatable around a bolt pin; a fastening device which is connected to the head tube; another fastening device which is installed with the fastening device and a spring interposed therebetween; a fastening device handle which allows the front fork members to be folded toward the frame in such a manner that the fastening device handle rotates the head tube connected to the fastening devices around the bolt pin by pulling the fastening devices during rotation around pins; a seat; and a rear wheel.

SINGLE-TRACK VEHICLE
20240166295 · 2024-05-23 ·

A single-track vehicle, in particular a motorcycle, includes a frame, a rocker rotatable relative to the frame, and a leaf spring connected to the frame and to the rocker in order to achieve a spring effect between the rocker and the frame. The leaf spring is connected to the frame via a first lever and a first rotary bearing such that a first rotational axis of the first rotary bearing is transversely offset relative to the leaf spring as a result of the first lever. Alternatively or in addition, the leaf spring is connected to the rocker via a second lever and a second rotary bearing such that a second rotational axis of the second rotary bearing is transversely offset relative to the leaf spring as a result of the second lever.

Vehicle terrain-tracking systems

The present disclosure relates to terrain-tracking or vehicle suspension systems that include travel at least one of the front or the rear of the vehicle. Various embodiments include a suspension above the vehicle (upper suspension). Embodiments include a suspension or travel in at least one of t he upper vehicle (rear and/or front), middle vehicle (rear and/or front), or below vehicle (rear and/or front). Various embodiments included a combination thereof.

STATIONARY JUMPING AND TRICK BIKE
20190209894 · 2019-07-11 ·

A stationary jumping and trick bike is disclosed. An example device includes a frame assembly having a handlebar on a forward portion of the frame assembly and a seat on the frame assembly. A leg member including a leaf spring is connected to the frame assembly by a bracket having a plurality of ports selectable for pivotably attaching the leg member to the frame assembly to adjust pitch and/or angle of attachment of the leg member. A plurality of tensioners are connected between the leg member and the frame assembly. A foot rest is provided on the frame assembly. A standing and/or seated user holding the handlebar on the frame assembly can practice jumps and tricks by lifting and landing a lower portion of the leg member on a solid surface.

STRUCTURAL ELEMENT OF A CYCLE PROVIDED WITH A VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH AN ELEMENT
20190185102 · 2019-06-20 · ·

A structural element of a cycle includes at least one tubular sheath provided with an outer wall delimiting, with an inner partition, at least one cavity in which a vibration damping system is accommodated. The sheath includes at least two internal cavities, each delimited between the inner partition and the outer wall, one of the internal cavities forming a housing in which the damping system is accommodated and attached.

Brake caliper for a bicycle

A brake caliper for a bicycle includes a housing configured to be installed on the bicycle, the bicycle including a disc attached to a wheel of the bicycle. A brake pad is installed within the housing and is configured to move between a braking position and a non-braking position. The braking position is a location within the housing where the brake pad contacts the disc when the housing is installed on the bicycle. The non-braking position is a location within the housing where the brake pad is further from the disc than in the braking position. The caliper also includes a biasing member configured to bias the brake pad in a downstream direction within the housing with the brake pad is in the non-braking position, the downstream direction being parallel to a direction of rotation of the disc when a wheel of the bicycle is rotating to move the bicycle forward.

CYCLE-TYPE VEHICLE SUSPENSION PROVIDED WITH A RESILIENT ELEMENT FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO OBTAIN AN OPTIMAL STATIC COMPRESSION CURVE, AND OPTIMIZED RESILIENT ELEMENT FOR SUCH SUSPENSION
20190084642 · 2019-03-21 ·

A vehicle wheel suspension system includes two relatively movable portions and a resilient blade that includes two means for mechanical connection to both relatively movable portions, respectively. The blade has a flexural resilience at least 100 times greater than the tensile resilience, and is resiliently deformable between: a resting state in which the blade has an inwardly curved profile, and a maximally extended state in which the blade has an elongate profile, the length of which corresponds to that of the neutral fiber of the blade, while passing through intermediate extension states in which the blade has profiles that are less and less inwardly curved. The suspension system is deformable between an initial state in which the relatively movable portions are in a close configuration and a compressed state in which the relatively movable portions are in a separated configuration and bias the blade.

Rear wheel suspension system for a bike

A rear wheel suspension system for a bike, includes a seat tube, left and right side flexible chainstays, left and right side seatstays. A leaf spring interconnects the seatstays and the seat tube, wherein one end of the leaf spring is connected to the upper end area of said seatstays, the leaf spring extending upwardly from its point of connection to the upper end area of the seatstays to a point of connection to the seat tube of said bicycle. The leaf spring is arranged at a distance D to the seat tube in a direction perpendicular to top and bottom surfaces of the leaf spring to allow flex of the leaf spring towards the seat tube and thus vertical flex of said flexible chainstays.
