DAMPER APPARATUS
A damper apparatus includes an adjusting bolt including a head part rotatably stored in an adjusting bolt storage part formed in a base part, and a male thread part including a tip end formed in a male thread shape. An adjusting member includes: a female thread part, which is a part in a female thread shape fastened to the male thread part of the adjusting bolt and movably provided along an axis line of the adjusting bolt; a tapered surface part with which the tip end of a push rod comes into contact and formed in a tapered shape with respect to the axis line of the adjusting bolt; and wall parts rising from both ends of the tapered surface part with reference to the circumferential direction of the adjusting bolt, and interposing the push rod therebetween.
TRAILING LINK CYCLE WHEEL SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY HAVING GAS PISTONS WITH UNEQUAL GAS PISTON AREAS
A suspension assembly for a cycle having improved stability includes a steering fork having a steering axis, a first arm, and a second arm, each of the first arm and the second arm having a fixed pivot and a shock pivot, the space between the first arm and the second arm defining a wheel opening. A shock link has a shock link fixed pivot and a shock link floating pivot. A shock absorber has a shock gas spring comprising a shock spring body a shock gas piston having a first gas piston area, a spring unit has a spring gas spring comprising a spring body and a spring gas piston having a second gas piston area. The first gas piston area is not equal to the second gas piston area. A mechanical trail distance increases as the suspension assembly compresses relative to a fully extended state.
Suspension assembly for a cycle having a fork arm with dual opposing tapers
A multi-bar suspension assembly for a cycle having improved stability includes a first arm having a first arm fixed pivot and a first arm shock pivot. The first arm includes a hollow internal portion having first end and a second end that are both wider than a narrow intermediate portion. A shock link has a shock link fixed pivot and a shock link floating pivot. A shock absorber has a first shock mount and a second shock mount. A wheel carrier has a wheel carrier first pivot and a wheel carrier second pivot spaced apart from one another, and a wheel mount that is adapted to be connected to a wheel. A control link has a control link floating pivot and a control link fixed pivot, the control link floating pivot being pivotably connected to the wheel carrier second pivot, and the control link fixed pivot being pivotably connected to the first arm control pivot.
Bicycle rear suspension
A bicycle comprises a front wheel; a rear wheel; a frame comprising a main frame portion and an articulating frame portion, the articulating frame portion comprising: a lower arm pivotally supported at a first axis by the main frame portion; an upper frame link pivotally supported at a second axis by the main frame portion; an upper arm pivotally coupled to the upper frame link at a third axis; an upper shock link pivotally coupled to the upper frame link and the upper arm at the third axis; and a lower shock link pivotally coupled to the main frame portion and the lower arm at the first axis; and a shock absorber having a first end pivotally supported at a fourth axis by the main frame portion, and a second end pivotally supported at a fifth axis by the upper shock link and the lower shock link.
COMPACT FOLDABLE SCOOTER AND MANUFACTURE METHOD OF THE SAME
A foldable electric scooter and a manufacture method of the same. The foldable electric scooter includes a main body assembly, a front fork assembly located at the front end of the main body assembly, a rear fork assembly located at the rear end of the main body assembly, a telescoping plate assembly located on top of the front fork assembly and a handlebar assembly located on top of the telescoping plate assembly. The foldable electric scooter has a double headset design that increases a rake angle for more steering stability while still keeping the steering upright for an upright holding of the handlebars. The foldable electric scooter is manufactured by stamping of flat plate material.
Bicycle suspension components and electronic control devices
Example bicycle suspension components and control devices are described herein. An example shock absorber includes a damper body defining a first chamber and a reservoir defining a second chamber. A flow path is defined between the first chamber and the second chamber. The example shock absorber also includes a flow control member disposed in the flow path and a motor to operate the flow control member to affect fluid flow between the first chamber and the second chamber.
Crown air volume
A crown assembly including at least one crown fluid chamber having a first volume, and a fork side opening for fluidly coupling the at least one crown fluid chamber with at least one fluid spring chamber of a fork leg to provide an additional amount of available fluid volume to the at least one fluid spring chamber.
Air suspension system
The integrated tank and compressor mounting system for a motorcycle has a mount block which has a mounting face, and a compressor clamp. The mount block has a threaded cylindrical section which forms a tank mount for mounting a tank. The tank has a cylindrical tubular section closed at one end and threaded at the other end such that the tank threads correspond to the mount block threads. The tank provides air for an air suspension which includes a forward suspension unit activated by air and an aft suspension unit activated by air. A supply line connects the tank air volume to an inlet valve on the suspension control unit. The suspension control unit has a cylindrical forward control valve passage and the forward control valve passage has a forward transfer chamber.
ACTIVE VALVE CUSTOMIZABLE TUNE APPLICATION
A system and method for utilizing an active valve customizable tune application is disclosed. The system initiates an active valve tune application. Receive a suspension tune for a vehicle, the suspension tune comprising a number of performance range adjustable settings. Presents the suspension tune within the active valve tune application on the display. Receive input to modify, at the active valve tune application, one or more of the number of performance range adjustable settings. Generates a modified suspension tune based on the modification input.
