An ejection chute for an agricultural baler has an ejection chute that includes a channel having a base wall and first and second side walls extending upwards from either side of the base wall, and in which a region of the base wall is provided with a first window. Various deposit mechanisms are provided for controlling movement of a formed bale through the first window.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MONITORING FUNCTIONAL STATUS OF A HEAT GENERATING COMPONENT OF A WORK MACHINE
20230257968 · 2023-08-17 ·

A method of monitoring a component of a work machine includes establishing fault threshold range of the component including a range of values of electromagnetic radiation indicative of a potential failure of the component. A controller is configured for receiving data from an infrared sensor related to a current electromagnetic radiation value emitted from the component, and comparing the current electromagnetic radiation value to the fault threshold range of the component. The controller may automatically communicate a first control signal to a machine control device when the current electromagnetic radiation value is within the fault threshold range of the component. The first control signal may include a message warning of potential failure of the component, or may control a drive associated with the component to alter or stop operation of the component prior to failure.

Accumulating system for high capacity baler

A baling system comprising a first bale-forming area configured to form a first series of first individual bales, and a second bale forming-area configured to from a second series of second individual bales. The baling system additionally comprises a bale accumulator configured to receive the first and second individual bales from said first and second bale-forming areas and to manipulate the first and second individual bales into a group of four or more bales.

BALER IMPLEMENT WITH IDENTIFICATION TAG READER
20220124985 · 2022-04-28 ·

A baler implement includes a housing that defines a baling chamber for forming crop material into a bale. The baler implement further includes a knotter system having a component that is moveable between a standby position and a wrapping position while wrapping the bale. A knotter sensor communicates a knotter engagement signal in response to movement of the component. A reader is in communication with the knotter sensor and is emits an interrogation signal for reading an identification tag on the bale. The reader emits the interrogation signal for a predefined period of time in response to the knotter engagement signal from the knotter sensor indicating movement of the component of the knotter system while wrapping the bale with the strand material.

NET WRAP ROLL WITH LIFT HOOK LOCATION MARKINGS

A supply roll for a wrap system of a baler implement includes a core having a circumferential wall surface forming a cylindrical shape concentric with a central longitudinal axis. A wrap material includes a length wound about the circumferential wall surface of the core, and defines an exterior circumference. The core and the wrap material cooperate to define a combined center of gravity. An axial position identifier is disposed on the exterior circumference of the wrap material, and is positioned relative to the combined center of gravity to define a desired lift location.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TERAHERTZ FREQUENCY OBJECT AND CROP CONTAMINATION AND CONSTITUENT DETECTION AND HANDLING
20230243761 · 2023-08-03 ·

An agricultural system with an agricultural harvester has a terahertz sensor. The terahertz sensor includes at least one a terahertz source disposed to direct electromagnetic radiation toward a harvest material of the agricultural harvester. A terahertz detector is disposed to detect the terahertz electromagnetic radiation after the terahertz electromagnetic radiation interacts with the harvest material. A controller is operably coupled to the terahertz detector and is configured to detect a harvest-related parameter based on a signal from the terahertz detector and to perform an action based on a detected parameter.

BALER SYSTEM WITH PRESERVATIVE MONITORING

A baler system is operable to determine an initial quantity of a preservative stored in a tank and define an application rate of the preservative to be applied per bale during a harvest operation. A number of bales to be formed during the harvest operation may be estimated, and a determination made on whether or not the initial quantity of the preservative at the defined application rate is sufficient to treat the estimated number of bales to be formed during the harvest operation. When a controller determines that the initial quantity of the preservative is not sufficient to treat the estimated number of bales to be formed during the harvest operation, the controller may send a notification to a system manager requesting additional preservative be delivered to the baler implement. The status of the preservative may be continuously monitored and updated throughout the harvest operation.
