SQUARE BALER
A square baler is disclosed. The square baler comprises: at least one ram arranged movably between end positions in a pressing channel, and a cutting rotor, and a drive train which is designed to drive at least the ram and the cutting rotor together, a torque input connection through which torque may be supplied to the drive train, and a first power split, such as a bevel gear stage, which is connected to the torque input connection. The drive train comprises at least one reduction gear associated with the ram. The reduction gear associated with the ram and the cutting rotor are connected in parallel to each other to the first power split. At least one side gear is connected between the first power split and the at least one reduction gear associated with the ram. And, at least one flywheel is connected between the at least one reduction gear associated with the ram and the at least one side gear.
GEAR ASSEMBLY FOR DRIVING A RAM OF A SQUARE BALER
A gear assembly is disclosed for driving a ram arranged in a pressing channel of a square baler so as to be movable between end positions. The gear assembly comprises at least one side gear, which may be driven indirectly by a power take-off shaft of an agricultural production machine, and at least one reduction gear which is connected downstream from the at least one side gear and may be connected on the output side to a crankshaft on which the ram is mounted. The gear assembly further includes at least one flywheel that is connected between the at least one side gear and the at least one reduction gear, and at least one shiftable clutch device that is connected between the at least one flywheel and the at least one reduction gear.
BALE WRAPPING SYSTEM WITH PROPORTIONAL CYCLE ACCELERATION
A method of controlling a wrap system of a round baler includes determining a current characteristic of a supply roll of wrap material related to a current weight of the supply roll, and controlling rotation of a pair of spool rollers based on the current characteristic of the supply roll. As the current characteristic indicates a decrease in weight, the rotation of the pair of spool rollers is controlled to achieve a desired acceleration rate of the spool rollers, such that a leading edge of the wrap material is ejected from a nip formed between the pair of spool rollers at an ejection trajectory that is within an allowable angular range relative to a tangent of the nip, so that the leading edge of the wrap material passes through an access and into a baling chamber of the round baler.
ACCUMULATING SYSTEM FOR AN AGRICULTURAL SYSTEM
An agricultural system includes a baling system configured to form a bale of crop material and an accumulator positioned laterally outward from the baling system. The accumulator is adjustable between an open position and a closed position, and the baling system is configured to receive the crop material from the accumulator.

BALER AND A ROTARY DRIVE TRANSMISSION FOR A BALER
A rotary drive transmission is provided for a baler including a bale chamber, a plunger that compresses bale material in the bale chamber, a drive mechanism that drives reciprocating movement of the plunger, and a flywheel connected to a rotary input of the drive mechanism. The rotary drive transmission includes a rotary drive part, a rotary driven part that drives rotation of the flywheel, and a torsional drive transfer device that transfers rotary drive between the rotary drive part and the rotary driven part. The torsional drive transfer device includes a resilient element and is configured to allow limited relative rotation in the drive direction between the rotary drive part and the rotary driven part against a reaction force provided by the resilient element.
Working vehicle and support system for the same
A working vehicle includes a vehicle body to be coupled to a working device, a communication controller to obtain first operation information relating to operation of the working device, the communication controller being electrically connected to the working device to communicate bi-directionally with the working device, an applicability judging device to judge applicability of the working device to the operation based on the first operation information obtained by the communication controller, and a display device to display the applicability judged by the applicability judging part.
Drive system for an agricultural baler
A drive system for an agricultural baler that includes a power take off (PTO) shaft configured for being operably connected in between an agricultural vehicle and the agricultural baler and for supplying motive power to the agricultural baler, a gearbox configured for being mounted on the agricultural baler and connected to the PTO shaft for receiving motive power from the PTO shaft, a pickup drive shaft operably connected to the gearbox and configured for being operably connected to a reel of a pickup unit of the agricultural baler, at least one sensor associated with the pickup drive shaft and configured for sensing a rotational movement of the pickup drive shaft, and an electrical processing circuit operably connected to the at least one sensor. The electrical processing circuit is configured for disconnecting motive power to the reel.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSIGNING WEIGHTED AVERAGE QUALITY VALUE TO BALED PLANT MATERIAL
A system and method for evaluating individual subunits of material incorporated into a bale and, based thereon, assigning a weighted average quality value to the overall bale. A baler receives, aggregates, compresses, shapes, and secures subunits of a plant material into a bale. An NIR testing system receives and analyzes near-infrared radiation reflected by the plant material, and generates subunit evaluation data reflecting properties of the material in the subunits. A computer receives and combines the subunit evaluation data to produce overall evaluation data reflecting properties of the bale, and assigns the overall evaluation data to the bale. Combining the subunit evaluation data includes assigning weights to the subunit evaluation data and then averaging the weighted subunit property values. Weighting may be based on the amount of time the NIR testing system is exposed to the material in each subunit, and the amount of time may be mechanically determined.
