Human Powered Flywheel Drive System

The HUMAN POWERED FLYWHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM is a vehicle drive system utilizing a flywheel positioned concentrically within an air sealed space inside a drive wheel, so as to rotate in a coaxial configuration with both the drive wheel and flywheel rotating independently until the drive wheel is propelled to between a ten and fifteen mile per hour speed, when the rotation of the drive wheel is coupled to that of the flywheel so as to purpose stored energy for added momentum and torque. Braking is applied only to the drive wheel while allowing the flywheel to remain spinning freely to store energy.

Bicycle with Spring

The purpose of the device storing elastic potential energy in a vehicle is making the use of energy to move it more efficient as the device can store excess energy and provide energy when needed. This will make energy storage in a spring for later use possible when riding at high speed and then braking, not to waste energy in friction brakes, in contrast to what regularly happens; in this way, the use of energy will be more efficient. When the cyclist is tired, is riding up a steep slope, or simply needs energy, he will be able to release energy and thus accelerate to improve energy performance. Likewise, the bicycle user will be able to ride farther, ascend to higher peaks, and use less energy for a journey. This will provide people the opportunity to shift to the use of this vehicle instead of a motor vehicle.

Bicycle with rear suspension and relative system of transmissions
12151777 · 2024-11-26 · ·

A bicycle includes a frame, a rear wheel, a suspension system that allows a predetermined relative movement therebetween, and a drivetrain system. The drivetrain system includes a crankset fixed to the frame, a hub and pinion assembly fixed to the rear wheel rotatable about a common pivot axis thereof, and a drive chain placed to connect them directly to each other. The crankset and the hub and pinion assembly are subjected to mutual movement by the action of the suspension system, where at least one among the crankset and the hub and pinion assembly includes a free stroke device that allows both an outbound and inbound free angular stroke of the chain with respect to the respective pivot axes of the crankset and/or of the hub and pinion assembly. The angular stroke is limited by a predetermined angle of entity related to the movement between the wheel and frame.

ROTATION TRANSMISSION MECHANISM AND BICYCLE PROVIDED WITH SAME

Disclosed is a rotation transmission mechanism including: an internal rotation member inserted by a crankshaft of a bicycle; and an external rotation member configured on the internal rotation member. The internal rotation member includes: an internal rotation member body. The external rotation member includes: a circular ring part configured at an outer side of the outer circumferential convex parts; and inner circumferential convex parts protruding to an inner circumferential side of the circular ring part and configured alternately with the outer circumferential convex parts. Elastic deformation parts are configured between the outer circumferential convex parts and the inner circumferential convex parts on a rotation direction side of the advancing outer circumferential convex parts. The outer circumferential convex parts are formed in such a manner that a surface on the rotation direction side is greater than a surface on an opposite side of the rotation direction.
