EXERCISE DEVICE PROVIDING USER DEFINED PEDAL MOVEMENTS
An exercise device for performing a variety of movement patterns. The exercise device has a pair of linkages, each including an upper link pivotally mounted to a frame and a lower link pivotally coupled to an upper link. A foot support is provided on a distal end of each lower link. A compression link interconnects the lower link to the frame. The compression link includes a shaft coupled to the lower link, a sleeve coupled to the frame and a spring captured between the shaft and the sleeve, whereby the spring provides a resistance to movement of the lower link relative to the frame.

Self-propelled skateboard
A self-propelled skateboard with at least one front wheel, a rear wheel, and a board, that is propelled without the rider's foot touching the ground. A driving force is generated the rider's weight is continuously shifted up and down in synchrony with the rocking motion of the eccentrically mounted rear wheel, which causes the board to be repeatedly pushed down and bounced back. Mounting multiple axles and one-way sprag clutch bearings on the rear wheel allows the rider to propel the board up inclined surfaces and to stop his/her motion and rest on the board, yet keep the skateboard continuously running.
Upper leg and hip exercise method and device to preserve knee and ankle joint while exercising.
The present invention comprises a user support where the exerciser can sit or lie on, a movement arm connector, a movement arm pivotally attached to the movement arm connector wherein the movement arm comprises a member pivotally attached to be placed on the user's thigh. Further it comprises an axis transformation adjustment, a double pivot axis mechanism to extend muscle movement in various axes. The present invention can be used as a resistant exercise machine and it can also be used as a bicycle wherein the pivot axis is located under the saddle.
A transfer system is coupled to the frame and both upper links for transferring both tensile and compressive forces. Separate torque elements are operably coupled to the frame and each lower link via a transfer member for independently resisting movement of the associated lower link.

Transmission device for bodybuilding device or bicycle
A transmission device is provided for bodybuilding devices or bicycles, including an axle that is operatively coupled to a sprocket assembly for collaborative operation. Two cranks are provided, having contact surfaces including one way bearing mounted thereto for fitting to two ends of the axle. Two clutch control assemblies are controllable through a wire control assembly such that the clutch control assemblies are selectively engageable with or disengageable from two cranks respectively to set the cranks in an operation mode of regular bicycle pedaling or an operation mode of one side pedaling alone or two side parallel pedaling. An important feature is that the wire control assembly is of an arrangement involving a mateable combination of two halves of which the parts are made of plastics, where assembly for centering is achieved with recess-projection engagement for better assembly accuracy.
Universal Footrest for One-Legged Operation of a Stationary Bicycle
Various embodiments for an apparatus and method for use of a footrest device with a stationary bicycle are provided. A footrest device includes a forward foundation, a rear foundation, one or more posts that extends in a horizontal direction, wherein at least one end of the one or more posts is coupled to either the forward foundation or the rear foundation. The footrest device includes a platform configured to function as a footrest, and one or more support shafts that extend in a vertical direction upwardly from the one or more posts. A method for using the footrest device includes placing one foot on a platform of the footrest device, placing a second foot on a pedal on the opposite side of the stationary bicycle, and pedaling the pedal of the stationary bicycle with the second foot while the first foot is located on the platform of the footrest device.
