BICYCLE BOTTOM BRACKET
20170320537 · 2017-11-09 · ·

A bottom bracket having a shaft having a longitudinal axis (X), first and second adapters radially outside of the shaft and associated with respective ends of a bottom bracket housing. Rolling bearings are radially interposed between the shaft and the first adapters with axial locking members axially outside the rolling bearings and in axial abutment on the first and second slewing bearings. A protective screen, positioned between a selected adapter and a radially outer surface of the associated axial locking members in the axial direction and at least partially outside of the first adapter, is fixedly connected to the selected adapter and comprising a sealing member arranged in sliding contact on the radially outer surface of the associated axial locking members.

Pedaling torque and power measuring device for a bicycle

A torque and power measuring device corresponding to the non-drive side cyclist leg, comprising a hollow shaft connecting the two bicycle crank arms with strain sensors arranged in the shaft surface. These sensors are connected to an electronic control unit housed inside the shaft, to which are also connected other different sensors to measure a plurality of interesting quantities (pedaling cadence, crank arm angular position . . . ). This electronic control unit picks the sensor signals up, stores them and performs pre-programmed software operations to later wirelessly output the result signals towards a receiving device for analysis and/or storage them, by means of an antenna located outside the shaft and anchored to the outer surface of the jointed crank arm with the shaft.

An interlocked bottom bracket bearing device is provided, including an axial tube, two bottom bracket bearing assemblies and two annular members. The axial tube includes a first end and a second end. Each said bottom bracket bearing assembly includes a small-diameter portion and a large-diameter portion. Said two small-diameter portions are respectively assembled to the first and second ends. A side of each said large-diameter portion is radially and annularly formed with a protruding flange. Said two annular members are respectively sleeved on said two large-diameter portions. The annular members are abutted against the protruding flanges. Wherein said two bottom bracket bearing assemblies are located on two opposite sides of the bottom bracket tube, the annular member is radially clamped and a portion of the annular member is axially clamped between the protruding flange and a side wall of bottom bracket tube.

A pedal includes a pedal body and a shaft. The pedal body has a shaft hole and a ball bearing disposed in the shaft hole. The ball bearing has an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve. The shaft has a locking end with a large diameter and a pivoting end with a small diameter. The pivoting end has a thread section screwed by a fixing nut which presses the inner sleeve of the ball bearing. The outer sleeve is fixed by a cap mounted in an opening of the shaft hole. The shaft is received in the shaft hole and fixed by the fixing nut. The shaft axially passes through the ball bearing. An end of the fixing nut is integrally formed with a flange to press the inner sleeve.

Crankset

A crankset for a bicycle comprising a shaft rotationally engaged with a bicycle frame, the shaft having a radially extending flange disposed toward one end, a first crank arm and a second crank arm, and each connected to an opposing end of the shaft and being approximately 180 degrees out of phase with each other, a first sprocket keyed to the shaft, the first sprocket having a toothed belt engaging surface, and a spacer member disposed between the first sprocket and the flange for adjusting a first sprocket position.

DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING THE BEARING PLAY OF COMPONENTS THAT ARE MOUNTED SUCH THAT THEY CAN ROTATE COAXIALLY IN RELATION TO ONE ANOTHER, AND ASSEMBLY OF COMPONENTS THAT ARE MOUNTED SUCH THAT THEY CAN ROTATE COAXIALLY IN RELATION TO ONE ANOTHER
20170254361 · 2017-09-07 · ·

A device for adjusting the bearing play of components that are mounted such that they can rotate coaxially in relation to one another, which components are rotatably joined to one another via two roller bearings arranged at an axial distance to one another, is operatively connected to one of the two roller bearings by an end side, and is operatively connected to a counter bearing by the opposing end side. The device is formed by two rings that are arranged next to one another, in a coaxial manner on one of the components. The opposing end surfaces thereof each have at least one contour projecting from the plane of the end surfaces. At least one of the contours is provided with an incline on which the at least one opposing contour slides. One ring is operatively connected to the counter bearing by the other end surface, and the other ring is operatively connected to the roller bearing. A device for the mutual radial rotation and a device for the locking of the axially moving ring in the assumed axial position are provided on both rings.
