Pedal for bicycles
11718366 · 2023-08-08 · ·

A pedal for bicycles comprising: a pedal-pin which extends along a reference axis, a pedal-body that comprises a hub coupled in a freely rotatable manner on the pedal-pin, an electronic measurement circuit firmly coupled to the pedal-pin to provide electrical measurement signals indicative of the deformation of the pedal-pin, a mechanical clamping member comprising: a first clamping element which is arranged on the pedal-pin to rotate around the reference axis and is positioned in abutment against a shoulder of the pedal-pin in order to be axially clamped along said axis), and a second clamping element that firmly couples the hub to the first clamping element so that the hub is axially clamped to the pedal-pin.

Antenna, bicycle, display apparatus, and unmanned aircraft

Provided are a new antenna, a bicycle including the new antenna, a display apparatus including the new antenna, and an unmanned aircraft including the new antenna. An antenna includes a first conductor, a second conductor facing the first conductor in a first direction, a third conductor, a fourth conductor, and a feeding line electromagnetically connected to the third conductor. The third conductor is located between the first conductor and the second conductor, apart from the first conductor and the second conductor, and extends in the first direction. The fourth conductor is connected to the first conductor and the second conductor and extends in the first direction. The first conductor and the second conductor are capacitively connected via the third conductor. The antenna is disposed in a bicycle component of a bicycle such that the fourth conductor faces the bicycle component.

CRANK TRANSMISSION WITH A CRANKSHAFT FOR CONNECTION TO AT LEAST ONE FOOT-OPERATED OR HAND-OPERATED CRANK

A crank transmission having a crankshaft for connection to at least one foot or hand crank and at least one gear wheel driven by means of the crankshaft (5) is proposed. A coupling unit is provided between the crankshaft and the gear wheel. Under load, the coupling unit has at least temporarily an angular offset between a crank-side receiving region and an output region connected to the gear wheel for receiving and outputting the torque generated via the crank.

Bicycle component provided with a temperature-compensated stress/strain sensor

Apparatuses and Methods for Crank-Based Lighting
20220289326 · 2022-09-15 · ·

The present disclosure describes various aspects of crank-based lighting, which may improve visibility of pedal-based vehicles or conveyances. In some aspects, a light generating apparatus includes a crank interface and lighting system. The crank interface may facilitate mounting of the apparatus to a crank (or crankarm) of a bicycle or other pedal-based vehicle. The lighting system may generate or emit light based on information indicating an angle, movement, and/or position of the crank, such as to cause light emission to emulate or project leg movement of a rider.

A bicycle crankarm the bicycle transmission side that has a main body length measured along a length from a crankset's crankarm rotation axis to a pedal axis. The crankarm has at least one stress/strain detector oriented along the length direction at a fixed distance, measured from the center of the stress/strain detector to the rotation axis of the crankarm, such that the ratio of the distance and the length is in the range between 0.45-0.65.
