A hybrid straddle vehicle comprises a hybrid traveling driving power unit including an engine and a traveling motor, the hybrid traveling driving power unit being configured to generate driving power for allowing the hybrid straddle vehicle to travel; a fuel tank which stores therein fuel to be supplied to the engine; and a battery unit which stores therein electric power to be supplied to the traveling motor. An outer end of the fuel tank in a vehicle width direction is located outward of the battery unit in the vehicle width direction.

The movement restrictor includes the abutting portion, the groove of the housing, and an elastic member fitted in the groove.

A housing of the drive unit includes a first case including a recess in which an electric motor is accommodated, a second case defining an exterior of the housing together with the first case, and an inner cover that covers at least a portion of the electric motor. The inner cover rotatably supports a gear rotary shaft, and an outer peripheral edge thereof extends between the gear rotary shaft and a pedal crank shaft. The recess in the first case includes a wall extending around the periphery of the electric motor. The wall supports the inner cover.

A housing of the drive unit includes a first case including a recess in which an electric motor is accommodated, a second case defining an exterior of the housing together with the first case, and an inner cover that covers at least a portion of the electric motor. The inner cover rotatably supports a gear rotary shaft, and an outer peripheral edge thereof extends between the gear rotary shaft and a pedal crank shaft. The recess in the first case includes a wall extending around the periphery of the electric motor. The wall supports the inner cover.

Hybrid vehicle

A hybrid vehicle includes: a crankcase extending from a lower portion of a cylinder of an engine, the crankcase including a main body portion defining a crank chamber in which a crankshaft of the engine is accommodated, the crankcase further including a breather portion projecting upwardly from the main body portion and defining a breather chamber into which blowby gas is introduced from the crank chamber; a breather tube that introduces the blowby gas from the breather chamber into the intake passage; and a drive motor disposed rearwardly of the cylinder and mounted on a top surface of the crankcase. The breather portion has a facing surface facing an outer peripheral surface of the drive motor. The facing surface of the breather portion is shaped to conform to the outer peripheral surface of the drive motor.

A VEHICLE

A step-through type vehicle includes: a frame assembly; at least one front wheel and at least one rear wheel connected to the frame assembly and rotated by a power unit; and a plurality of portions comprising one or more flexible portions, and one or more fixed portions. The fixed portions include a front structure, a rear structure, and a top structure disposed between the front structure and the rear structure. The flexible portions include at least one retractable member. The top structure and the retractable member include a plurality of solar panels. The retractable member is detachably attached with the top structure, and is retracted upwardly towards the top structure, and stretched downwardly from the top structure towards the front wheel and the rear wheel. The retractable member is foldably stowed inside at least one box like compartment, which is at least one part of the rear structure.

POWER TRAIN FOR A PEDAL VEHICLE

A power train of a pedal vehicle includes a crankset axle and a first output plate having a first axis of rotation. The first output plate is coupled with a transmission chain or belt so as to drive the rear wheel of the pedal vehicle. The coupling between the crankset axle and the transmission chain or belt extends through a planetary gear train which rotates about a second axis of rotation. The crankset axle is further coupled to the first output plate by a first free wheel (16) which is arranged to prevent the first output plate from rotating slower than the crankset axle when the crankset axle rotates in the normal pedalling direction.

VEHICLE WITH A POWER UNIT

A vehicle with a power unit includes: a body frame with said power unit mounted to said body frame; at least one front wheel supported by the body frame in a front portion, and at least one rear wheel supported by the body frame in a rear portion; an electric machine capable of assisting said power unit; and an auxiliary power source electrically connected to said electric machine. The vehicle further includes a first set of foot pegs for a rider and a second set of foot pegs for a pillion. A quadrilateral region is defined between said first set of foot pegs and said second set of foot pegs, and said electric machine and said auxiliary power source are disposed substantially within said quadrilateral region when viewed from vehicle top.
