TOOL QUICK-CHANGE SET FOR MEDICAL HAND-HELD MACHINE TOOL
The present invention relates to a connection set for connecting a tool to a hand-held machine tool, which consists of, or comprises, a receptacle and an insert. The receptacle is designed provided and/or suitable to be fastened to a machine tool and to receive an insert. The insert is designed, provided and/or suitable for being fastened to the tool and for being releasably, at least in sections, inserted into the receptacle. In this, both the receptacle and the insert are continuous in the longitudinal direction and circumscribe each a lumen. Furthermore, the receptacle comprises one or several stationary pins projecting from an inner wall into the lumen and one or several movable pins. The outside of the insert comprises one or several guides, which are provided, designed or suitable for guiding the pins along the outside of the insert when inserting the insert into the lumen of the receptacle.

MULTIPLE THICKNESS SAW BLADE FOR PRECISION ORTHOPEDIC CUTS
A saw blade for use in an orthopedic procedure may have multiple regions of different thickness across the length of the saw blade. The saw blade may include at least one region that is comparatively thicker. The saw blade may also include at least one region that is comparatively thinner and position closer to an end of the saw blade having cutting teeth. In some configurations, the thicker region of the saw blade is an intermediate region located between two comparatively thinner regions. The intermediate thicker region can interface with a slot of a cutting guide while the comparatively thinner regions can be sides for engaging with a driver and controlling the kerf width of a bone cut made using the saw blade, respectively.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VERIFICATION OF LOCATION DURING SURGERY
A verification instrument configured to verify the location of a surgical end-effector, including: a body; a navigation element disposed and configured to represent a spatial location of the body; a first clip extending from the body configured to clip onto a tool; a length measurement portion disposed at a first angle from the body, wherein the length measurement portion is configured to contact a tool tip when the first clip is clipped onto the tool.
ADAPTER ASSEMBLY FOR SURGICAL CUTTING TOOL
An adapter apparatus for a cable saw or similar cutting implement includes a hub adapter that may detachably engage a mounting hub of a power tool. A pair of lateral arms extend outward on opposing sides of the hub adapter to a connection interface of the cable saw. The connection interface engages opposing wire ends of the cable saw and provides for a cutting operation in response to an oscillating motion of the power tool.
Surgical system for cutting an anatomical structure according to at least one target cutting plane
The invention relates to a surgical system for cutting an anatomical structure (F, T) of a patient according to at least one target plane defined in a coordinate system of the anatomical structure, comprising: (i) a robotic device (100) comprising: —an end effector (2), —an actuation unit (4) having at least three motorized degrees of freedom, configured for adjusting a position and orientation of the end effector (2) relative to each target plane, —a passive planar mechanism (24) connecting the terminal part (40) of the actuation unit (4) to the end effector (2); (ii) a tracker (203) rigidly attached to the end effector (2), (iii) a tracking unit (200) configured to determine in real time the pose of the end effector (2) with respect to the coordinate system of the anatomical structure, a control unit (300) configured to determine the pose of the end effector with respect to the target plane and to control the actuation unit so as to bring the cutting plane into alignment with the target plane.
Robotic cutting systems and methods for surgical saw blade cutting on hard tissue
Methods of cutting bone using a robotic cutting system are provided. The robotic cutting system includes one or more controllers, a robotic manipulator, and one or more cutting tools, such as those including a bur or a saw blade, that can be coupled to the robotic manipulator. An initial cut, such as a notch, is made into the bone with the bur or the saw blade. This notch is then used to constrain the saw blade for limiting skiving of the saw blade during cutting along a cutting plane.
Medical devices and related methods for transforming bone, other tissue, or material
Medical devices and related methods for transforming bone, other tissue, or other material are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, a cutting device includes a static casing that defines a sheathing slot and an opening. The sheathing slot extends to the opening and has a first height at an end of the opening. Further, the bone cutting device includes a horn including a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to operatively connect to a source of movement. Further, the second end includes a cutting component having a second height. The first height is greater than the second height.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MULTI-STAGE ROBOTIC ASSISTED BONE PREPARATION FOR CEMENTLESS IMPLANTS
Methods and systems for preparing a bone for a cementless joint implant are described. A first bone removal operation is performed using a burring device that has a first plurality of settings. The settings for the burring device are adjusted to a second plurality of settings, and a second bone removal operation is performed using the burring device. The adjustment to the settings may allow a surgeon to perform bulk bone removal in the first instance and fine bone removal in the second instance. The process of adjusting and performing subsequent bone removal operations may be performed any number of times during the bone preparation process. The adjustments to the settings may be received automatically from a computer-assisted surgical system, manually entered by a medical professional, or a combination of the two.
