The present invention relates to a fluid treatment chamber with a self-cleaning rotary sight window. The proposed rotary sight window includes a stationary frame (10); a transparent stationary panel (11) attached to the stationary frame by a leak-tight joint (41); a rotary frame (20) connected to the stationary frame (10) by a rotary joint (40); a transparent rotary panel (21) attached to the rotary frame (20) by a joint, the transparent rotary panel (21) being arranged opposite and spaced apart from the transparent stationary panel (11) by an intermediate chamber (1); and a motor (30) connected to the transparent rotary panel (21) or to the rotary frame (20), wherein the joint between the transparent rotary panel (21) and the rotary frame (20) is an interference joint (43) attached by a dimensional interference fit.

There is described a ventilation system for a boat. The windshield body comprises an air scoop in a bottom portion of the windshield body, facing a forward direction of the boat for air entry, the air scoop having an entry which is substantially horizontal and the air scoop extending upwardly within the windshield body to form a conduit having an upward component. The conduit end opens toward an inside of the boat, at a location higher than the entry of the air scoop. A hingeable vent can be installed on the opening inside the boat to be open or closed. The vent may also be sued with a direct opening with the outside. In this case, flaps can be installed in the opening. The flaps can be hingeable about their own respective hinge axis, and move together using a solid link. The flaps may be used without the vent.

There is described a ventilation system for a boat. A boat wind and spray protection device which includes at least one panel joined to a coupler-hinge-actuator that is capable of being fixed in relation to a boat. For center console boats, a set of two panels, located on either side of the console of the boat, are designed to open from a position generally parallel and adjacent to the console sides, to an angle and distance sufficient to provide improved passenger protection from wind and spray. The panels may be powered electronically by control buttons that operate electronic actuators, that in turn power the movement of the panels between generally closed to generally open positions, as well as intermediate positions.

A boat includes a dash positioned proximate a windshield at a first non-zero angle. A speaker is mounted under a top surface of the dash at a second non-zero angle. The speaker is positioned to direct sound emanating from the speaker through an opening in the dash and the windshield is configured to reflect the sound emanating from the speaker as reflected sound in an aft direction. The boat may also include an enclosure having a reflective surface positioned within a cavity formed between the deck and hull of the boat. A speaker, mounted within the enclosure, and the reflective surface are configured to reflect sound emanating from the speaker off of the reflective surface and through an opening of the enclosure.

A boat includes a dash positioned proximate a windshield at a first non-zero angle. A speaker is mounted under a top surface of the dash at a second non-zero angle. The speaker is positioned to direct sound emanating from the speaker through an opening in the dash and the windshield is configured to reflect the sound emanating from the speaker as reflected sound in an aft direction. The boat may also include an enclosure having a reflective surface positioned within a cavity formed between the deck and hull of the boat. A speaker, mounted within the enclosure, and the reflective surface are configured to reflect sound emanating from the speaker off of the reflective surface and through an opening of the enclosure.
