Automatic berthing system for unmanned ship
An automatic berthing system for an unmanned ship includes a plurality of roof plates fixedly arranged at a side edge of a shore, and a position adjusting mechanism is fixedly arranged in the roof plate. The position adjusting mechanism includes an X-direction adjusting assembly, a Y-direction adjusting assembly, and a Z-direction adjusting assembly. The X-direction adjusting assembly is fixedly connected to an inner sidewall of a fixing bracket. The fixing bracket is fixedly connected to an inner sidewall of the roof plate. A fixing plate is connected to the inner side of the X-direction adjusting assembly. The Y-direction adjusting assembly is connected to the bottom of the fixing plate. The automatic berthing system can realize accurate berthing of an unmanned ship, achieve an excellent berthing effect, and provide protection for the unmanned ship, achieving high safety.
Fast hitch docking system
A docking or mooring system for a boat includes a horizontal shaft mounted with respect to a structure at which docking the boat may be desired. The system also includes at least one hitch mounted forward of the bow of a boat and defining a tapering recess configured to receive the shaft. The shaft is spring biased at a predetermined height but is selectively movable vertically. The hitch includes a latching mechanism with cams that automatically engage the shaft using the forward motion of the boat.
Mooring device
A mooring device including: a strut with a first end and a second end; a first head; a pivot mount; a first suction cup; a rotating mount; a second head; a second suction cup; a rod; and a flotation cover sleeve. The pivot mount allows the first head to pivot about a first head axis and therefore to rotate relative to the strut. The rotating mount allows the suction cup to rotate about a second axis relative to the strut. The flotation cover sleeve having a buoyancy sufficient to render the entire apparatus positively buoyant in water.
Vessel with a semi automatic or automatic mooring system and method
Disclosed is a vessel with a semi automatic or automatic vessel mooring system and a method of mooring with such a system. The vessel includes a hull, a mooring line winch unit, at least one mooring line extending from said winch unit, and a weight at an end of the at least one mooring line. A mooring line guide boom with at least one mooring line guide on a mooring line guide portion is movable between a retracted position aligned with the hull, and an extended position. In the extended position the mooring line guide boom allows the winch unit to lower the weight at the end of the mooring line extending through the mooring line guide and onto a quay.
Mooring device and a floating unit comprising at least one mooring device
There is disclosed a mooring device (10) comprising an attachment unit (66) for mooring of a floating unit (110) to a floating or non-floating structure (125). The mooring device (10) comprises a first mooring arm (12) and a second mooring arm (20) for transferring and/or absorbing forces and energy that arises when the floating unit (110) moves relative to the floating or non-floating structure. There is also disclosed a floating unit and a floating or non-floating structure comprising one or more such mooring devices (10).
MOORING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
The present invention provides an improved device for attaching a watercraft to another structure such as another watercraft or a fixed structure, such as a dock. The apparatus comprises a spacing bar and specialized, quick connecting and releasing attachment devices that allow the watercraft to be quickly and effectively moored to other structures on the water without the risk of collision or damage to the watercraft. The quick-connect devices may be positioned near ends of the spacing bars to effectively hold the watercraft at a predetermined distance from the other structure. The device may further include tensioning mechanisms that are operable to keep the spacing bars at a substantially orthogonal orientation relative to the watercraft to maintain the pre-determined spacing between the watercraft and the other structure.
Mooring device
A mooring device with a rod having a first rod end and a second rod end. There is a suction cup assembly having a first suction cup mount with a first mount end and a second mount end. The first mount end is coupled with the first rod end. The assembly also has a first suction cup coupled with the second mount end. The mooring device includes a coupler engaged with the rod. The coupler is configured for at least one of lateral movement with respect to the rod, rotational movement with respect to the rod, and combinations thereof.
Floating offshore wind turbine system, apparatus and method
A floating offshore wind turbine includes a rotor and a generator turned by the rotor. An elongated buoyant body supports a tower that supports the generator and rotor. The buoyant body or the tower may support aerodynamic features to counteract heeling forces or to steer the floating wind turbine as it swings on its anchor line. The floating offshore wind turbine may be configured to move the anchor line force vector to counteract heeling forces. A control system may control the aerodynamic features and the movement of the anchor line force vector.
MOORING WHIP BASE
An improved pole support base mounted to a dock has means to pivot a housing supporting an inserted flexible pole and means to lock the pivoted pole in a vertical position to clear the pole from interfering with a vessel leaving from or returning to the dock. The pivotable housing and pole are manually lowered down to a determined desired degree to position the flexible pole and a line or rope that passes around a pulley at the end of the pole and is attached to a boat cleat to prevent possible damage owing to the vessel contacting the dock.
