System and method for treatment of gastroesophageal varices

The present disclosure relates to the field of endoscopy. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to delivery systems and methods for coagulating sites of bleeding within mucosal tissues, and in particular, for eradicating esophageal varices.

Cyclic expansion tissue treatment programs and associated systems

This disclosure relates generally to treatment programs utilizing expansion elements, such as those associated with occlusion and therapeutic agent delivery devices, systems, and methods. In some more specific examples, treatment programs include expansion-contraction cycles at a pre-selected frequency profile configured to treat a particular condition, such as calcification of an arterial conduit, for example.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CATHETERIZATION USING AN INTRALUMINAL ELECTROMAGNETIC WORKING CAPSULE
20220409316 · 2022-12-29 ·

There is provided a system for cardiac electromagnetic/magnetic catheterization for diagnosing and treating blood vessels of a patient. The system having at least one electromagnetic intraluminal capsule able to force its way through a narrowing blood vessel, the capsule carrying a camera allowing visualization of blood vessels of a patient. There is a portable electromagnetic tip, where the tip pulls the electromagnetic capsule by electromagnetic force, and when the magnetic tip moves along a body of a patient and pulls the intraluminal electromagnetic capsule along with it towards a narrowing blood vessel visualized by the camera, so that the capsule then treats the narrowing site and clears the blood vessel from coronary plaque. In addition working capsule can replace diseased valve in any cardiac position for either temporary or permanent needs.

APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR TRACKING OBSTRUCTIVE MATERIAL WITHIN A SUCTION CATHETER

Described here are methods and apparatuses for tracking a clot material within a lumen of a suction catheter. For example, an apparatus as described herein may include a flexible elongate body having a suction lumen, a first pair of electrodes within the suction lumen, a second pair of electrodes proximal to the first pair of electrodes, and a controller configured to track a clot material within the suction lumen based on signals from the first pair of electrodes and the second pair of electrodes.

A path preparation system for preparing a path for a device. The path preparation system includes an ultrasound transmitter and a tracking system. The tracking system is configured to determine a current position of the device on the path. The ultrasound transmitter is configured to focus an ultrasound wave onto a focus position that lies in front of the device in the direction of the path, in spatial relation to the current position of the device.

Methods and apparatus for flow restoration

Methods for restoring blood flow in occluded blood vessels using an apparatus having a self-expandable distal segment that is pre-formed to assume a superimposed structure in an unconstrained condition but can be made to take on a volume-reduced form making it possible to introduce it with a microcatheter and a push wire arranged at the proximal end, with the distal segment in its superimposed structure assuming the form of a longitudinally open tube and having a mesh structure of interconnected strings or filaments or struts. In a preferred embodiment, the distal segment has a tapering structure at its proximal end where the strings or filaments or struts converge at a connection point.
