Transfer structure, a transfer system and a method for transferring LNG and/or electric power

A transfer structure for transfer of a fluid between a floating structure and a floating or non-floating facility and/or transmission of electric power between the floating or non-floating facility and the floating structure is disclosed. The transfer structure includes at least one attachment means passive-movably mounted relative to the transfer structure for releasable attachment of the transfer structure to the floating structure. The transfer structure is semi-submersible and floating.

BUOY FOR INJECTING FLUID IN A SUBTERRANEAN VOID AND METHODS FOR CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING A FLUID PASSAGE FROM A VESSEL TO THE BUOY
20240068332 · 2024-02-29 ·

A buoy accomplishes a fluid connection between a vessel on a water surface and a subsea template located on a seabed via at least one riser. A fluid is transported by the fluid connection from the vessel to the subsea template, and the fluid is injected from the subsea template (120) into a subterranean void via a drill hole. At least one valve in the buoy is controllable from an external site in response to commands so as to shut off the fluid connection from the vessel to the at least one riser.

A mooring buoy includes a cylindrical structural shell. The cylindrical structural shell includes fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and has a first open end and an opposite second open end. A plurality of annular stiffeners are bonded to an inside of the cylindrical structural shell. A first endcap is disposed on the first open end of the cylindrical structural shell. The first endcap is configured to substantially cover the first open end. A second endcap is disposed on the second open end of the cylindrical structural shell. The second endcap is configured to substantially cover the second open end. At least one cylindrical attachment mechanism is coupled to an outside of the cylindrical structural shell. The cylindrical attachment mechanism is configured to attach mooring lines to the cylindrical structural shell.

Device for the transfer of cryogenic products between a floating structure and a fixed or floating structure

The present invention concerns a device for the transfer of cryogenic product from a first floating structure (330) for storing cryogenic product to a second fixed or floating structure for storing cryogenic product, comprising pipes (100) configured to transport the cryogenic product between a duct (300) linked to the first structure and a duct (200) linked to the second structure. Said pipes (100) are rigid, carried by buoyancy means (400) and fluidically connected in pairs by connection means (600) suitable for transporting the cryogenic product and allowing at least one degree of freedom. The present invention also concerns a method for retracting a device for the transport of cryogenic product.

Buoyant structure

A petroleum drilling, production, storage and offloading vessel having a hull, a main deck, an upper cylindrical side section extending downwardly from the main deck, an upper frustoconical side section, a cylindrical neck section, a lower ellipsoidal section that extends from the cylindrical neck section, and a fin-shaped appendage secured to a lower and an outer portion of the exterior of a bottom surface. The upper frustoconical side section located below the upper cylindrical side section and maintained to be above a water line for a transport depth and partially below the water line for an operational depth of the petroleum drilling, production, storage and offloading vessel.

Floating driller

A floating driller having a hull, a main deck, an upper cylindrical side section extending downwardly from the main deck, an upper frustoconical side section, a cylindrical neck section, a lower ellipsoidal section that extends from the cylindrical neck section, and a fin-shaped appendage secured to a lower and an outer portion of the exterior of a bottom surface. The upper frustoconical side section located below the upper cylindrical side section and maintained to be above the water line for a transport depth and partially below the water line for an operational depth of the floating driller.

SWING DOCK

One example embodiment is a swing dock. The swing dock includes a floating platform, a plurality of mounting means and a fastening means. The floating platform includes a frontal end and a tailing end which is positioned behind the frontal end. The width of frontal end is shorter than the width of the tailing end. The plurality of mounting means are provided on the floating platform to allow a marine craft to be secured adjacent to one mooring side of the swing dock. The fastening means is provided at a leading side of the floating platform which is adjacent to the frontal end. The fastening means allows the platform to be secured to a securing structure when in use such that the marine craft and the swing dock can swing in unison under windy conditions to minimize wind force.
