Offset installation systems
A subsea buoy comprising: a frame comprising one or more winches and a subsea equipment attachment point and one or more buoyancy modules attached to the frame and associated systems and methods.
Apparatus and method of using a disconnectable floating spar buoy jacket wind turbine
Disclosed embodiments relate to systems and methods for mating a wind turbine off-shore to a spar buoy without the use of a crane barge. The system may include a spar buoy, wherein the spar buoy is secured to a foundation, and a wind turbine to be installed on the spar buoy. The system may also include a first truss affixed to the top of the spar buoy and a second truss affixed to the bottom of the wind turbine. The first truss may comprise either stabbings or receptacles configured for mating to the second truss and the second truss may comprise either receptacles or stabbings configured for mating to the first truss.

Deployment techniques of a floating photovoltaic power generation system
A method of deploying floating photovoltaic (“PV”) modules on water includes attaching first and second sections of a tensioning frame between a first group of mooring buoys. In a first embodiment, the first and second sections are adjoining sections attached to a common one of the mooring buoys and a plurality of PV modules are unrolled from positions adjacent to the first section of the tensioning frame and the PV modules are extended out from the first section. In a second embodiment, the PV modules are unrolled and extended out between two floating platforms. The PV modules are mechanically attached into a contiguous PV array. Third and fourth sections of the tensioning frame are attached between a second group of the mooring buoys to at least partially surround the PV array with the tensioning frame. Tension on the tensioning frame is adjusted to place the PV array under tension.
Autonomous ROVs With Offshore Power Source That Can Return To Recharge
A resident remotely operated vehicle may be deployed subsea by deploying a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) (200) configured to be disposed and remain resident subsea for an extended time where the ROV comprises an ROV electrical power connector port (202) to be operatively connected to an electrical power supply (700) dedicated to the ROV. An RTMS configured to be disposed subsea for an extended time is also deployed subsea (210), typically proximate the ROV. A subsea docking hub subsea is also deployed subsea proximate the RTMS and operatively connected to the ROV and the RTMS. In addition, an umbilical is connected from the subsea docking hub to a subsea structure and a signal supplied from the subsea structure to the ROV.
ASYMMETRIC BODY OF WATER NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
An autonomous body of water navigation system and method uses the current of the body of water. The body of water navigation method may be asymmetric since cargo may be transported along with the current of the body of water and the navigation system can be easily transported back up the body of water.

Pressurization processing system
A pressurization processing system that performs pressurization processing on a target by immersing the target in the sea or a lake, includes a housing body that is configured to house the target, a buoyancy body that is configured to float the housing body, a weight body that has a specific gravity greater than that of seawater or lake water, and a separation mechanism that separably connects the housing body and the weight body. In the system, the buoyancy body includes a housing bag having water permeability, and the housing bag houses a plurality of hollow glass spheres, and is immersed in the seawater or the lake water so that a space between the plurality of hollow glass spheres housed in the housing bag is filled with the seawater or the lake water.

FLUID ANALYSIS APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present invention provides an apparatus adapted to survey a predetermined characteristic within a body of fluid adjacent an axis that transects the body of fluid, the apparatus comprising: a survey member interposed between first and second position defining arrangements; and at least one instrumentality associated with the survey member, each instrumentality adapted to survey the predetermined characteristic of the body of fluid adjacent the axis, wherein a survey of the predetermined characteristic is conducted over a predetermined time period. The present invention provides a method of surveying a predetermined characteristic within a body of fluid adjacent an axis that transects the body of fluid, the method comprising the steps of: deploying into a body of fluid at least one apparatus according to the first aspect of the invention; and obtaining survey data of the predetermined characteristic from one or more of the instrumentalities over the predetermined time period. The present invention also provides methods of determining whether a potentially suitable site is a suitable site for operative location of a fluid-based electricity generator, and other related methods.
