Offshore drilling system, vessel and method
An offshore drilling vessel includes a floating hull having a moonpool, a drilling tower positioned on the hull at or near the moonpool, a tubular string main hoisting device including a main hoisting winch and main cable connected to the main hoisting winch, a crown block mounted on the drilling tower, a travelling block suspended from the crown block in a multiple fall arrangement of the main cable, a mobile working deck and an integrated heave compensation system including a main cable heave compensation sheave in a path of the main cable between the main hoisting winch and the travelling block, a hydraulic sheave compensator connected to the main cable heave compensation sheave to provide a heave compensated motion of the travelling block, and a hydraulic deck compensator connected to the hull and to the mobile working deck to provide a heave compensated motion of the working deck relative to the hull within the heave compensation motion range.
LIFEBOAT LAUNCH CONTROL SYSTEM
A lifeboat launch control system. The lifeboat launch control system has a wheel trunk that runs along the side of a ship. An axle box is vertically movable in the wheel trunk. The axle box has a pair of wheels on opposing sides of a bar. A shaft is removably inserted into the bar. The shaft is removable from the bar by a handle. When the shaft is removed from the bar, the lifeboat is released from the ship.

Boat tower hinge
This invention relates to an improved boat tower hinge which supports a boat tower for use in supporting tow lines used for towing skiers or the like. The hinge can support a boat tower in a raised position while allowing the tower to be swung to a lowered rest position. In the raised tower position the hinge wedges an elongated tongue with polymer sides into an elongated groove having polymer locking inserts to reduce the side-to-side motion of the tower.

LIFEBOAT LAUNCHING ARRANGEMENT
The present application provides a launching arrangement for a lifeboat from an offshore installation. The launching arrangement may include a garage for the lifeboat, a gate of the garage that can be opened by gravity, wherein the lifeboat can be launched either as a free fall lifeboat or by a fall of a lifeboat winch in case of an emergency situation and while a power supply is off, and wherein the garage is equipped with the gate with a wire rope winch, a lower hydraulic cylinder, and an upper hydraulic cylinder; and the gate of the garage opens by gravity by simultaneous operation of a wire rope winch of the gate and the lower hydraulic cylinder and the upper hydraulic cylinder, both hydraulic cylinders working as a closed hydraulic system; and the lower hydraulic cylinder and the upper hydraulic cylinder including piston rods.
